before you buy this 529$ phone, Google "Nexus One Problem". you might be wasting your 600$ phone, because if the N1 has a problem there is no customer support,
Nexus one = Faster processor, Microsd cards are replaceble (infinite storage), LED SCREENS are cleaner/clearer, resolution is bigger = better, the phone is actually thinner (as thin as a pencil), phone is actually lighter, led + 5mp on camera = better with 2x zoom, android 2.1 (if you know android) operating system is better and its open, Multi touch is implemented when you root (do your homework), I love trackballs <-- sounds gay, the list goes on for days.
theyre reviewing this phone on g4tv on wednesday on aots. hopefully i can get a good review. what i have been seeing on the news and on youtube is there a lag and slow response. i dont see how google is expecting to sale anything with out any hands on. you cant go down to you local t-mobile and pick it up or try it. also it uses amazon mp3. that alone no itunes epic fail.
Uff the 3d performance is dissapointing, basically the same fps as on the older Android telephones. (around 25-30 fps on the neocore test) seems like they did not improve the 3d core.
Heck when are finally the first Tegra based phones coming out, that chipset is superior to anything Qualcom produces but no one except Zune HD uses it for now :-(
you are a fag kid, asking for too much, tegra will be probably sold solely by nvidia and it will cost over 1 thousand dollars per unit since no third party company nor services will adopt the harsh price devices with tegra processor (gpu) included.
Too bad that there are already devices which use the Tegra, ZuneHD for instance, just there is no Smartphone yet (god knows why) but things look good for the upcoming Google netbook it seems to use Tegra and will be able to output full HD.
keyboard input on the android needs work. it detects only one key at a time so when you begin to type really fast it will miss some letters. just what i noticed using my droid.
apple will however do something android and nokia doesnt do in the state and will have video chat. Apple comes out with something years after europe and its the next big thing. Get with it nokia, you already have forward cameras and you dont write apps that can at least use wifi for video chat!
As on the (2.1) shown on Nexus One. The Droid will run at the same speed as shown on the video. Nexus One is on par wit the Droid as Speed wise, it may just be a tab bit faster. You'll see when they get Compared.
@urbetterthanme 1ghz don't really mean nothing. The Droid has a stronger GPU. There are other Android phones out now that have the snapdragon; and is still slower than the Droid. It's not 533mhz its 550mhz. Droid CPU is capable of going over 1ghz, down clocked it so it can save battery. Do Ya Homework Buddy!!
I'd say that's driver-related, not hardware related. I've seen some custom Snapdragon drivers seen /greatly/ improve performance on WM phones, at least. The OMAP has a better GPU, but Snapdragon is supposedly a bit superior for applications, etc. Besides, are these slower Snapdragon phones even running Android 2.x? Unfair comparison otherwise.
Also, if I'm not mistaken the OMAP3 can (without overclocking) achieve below 700-800 MHz at best. Definitely not > 1 GHz.

It does not have for SOME apps, like Google Earth and the built in keyboard. The phone DOES support it though, it has to do with Apple having rights to multitouch for some applications.
I heard there is a multitouch keyboard in the Android store for free, so its not that big of an issue & double tap works great in google maps.
i didnt buy one because of this phone... but the droid is still a great device. its not slow by any means and some rooted droid users have already flashed this version of android onto their phones and it seems to run faster than 2.0.1
yeah but call quality is bad and ive seen a friend who's droid lags hopefully snapdragon takes care of it. flashy ads mean nothing i think verizon knew about this and they did their best to hook customers and stuff like bogo all before the nexus one

Screen = higher resolution but not bigger so can't take full advantage
Dual cameras = not as high res as evo4g and can't make calls without wi-fi
Dual microphones = copied off nexus one
Processor = still slower than nexus one
Antenna = as you may have already heard, grab it weird or it wont work
Adobe Flash = Never
Go to my channel and watch what a nexus one with full 2.2 and adobe flash can do.
