I do not, do not understand the Hollywood "thinking" (a word which I use with a lot of leeway in this context!). Why make a movie with a popular actor like Gerard Butler, and then only show it in a few theaters? At worst if only Gerry's dedicated fans came out to see it, it would be a hit. But I think this story will appeal to a lot of different kinds of people and would be a hugh money maker. It's not playing ANY WHERE in my state! Does that make sense?

I was lucky enough to attend the LA Premiere of Machine Gun Preacher on September 21st. I came out of the theater a changed person.

The film was hard hitting, eye opening and in the end extremely inspirational. Whether one can relate to the struggles, and redemption of Sam Childers or his methods of saving children in Africa and around the world, one can overwhelmingly relate to the humanity of the story. This movie must be seen by all.

This film looks like it could be up there in the academy award nominations, and the powers-that-be are sabotaging it's success.
