I used to flag marshal for the Bears in 1992-97 and remember one rare day the Britten going down while in the dipper and ripping off its foot peg. I can't remember who was riding but in typical style they got straight back on and without it went on to win that race. It was the best thing I'd ever picked up off the track, second was somebody's shiny new spanner!
ha i was following andrew stroud round ruapuna on a track day the other day, fucken good rider ae! when i say following i mean he was lapping me, but theres no way to get closer to whatch them race

I beleve that is stephen briggs riding the britten,he raced it back when john was alive from memory. Good rider!!
