angela is actually the name of the group, not the name of the singer if anyone was wondering. I don't know if they're married or not, but it's a duo with the guitarist KATSU and the singer Atsuko (I think thats her name?).

And yes, she does have a very unique style of singing, thats why I love the group. If I had to name it ... she uses a heavily Enka style paired with modern rock and synth.

Shangri-la from Fafner OP is great too. They do a lot of OP/EDs for XEBEC.

ah thanks... i kinda was irritated when i posted that comment... because i was listening to this song over and over again and the noise always caught me off-guard.

You should make it like a gust of wind or a glass "ring" noise (almost musical). Sharp noises like sudden cracking ... are kinda unsettling.

Hito is in paranthesis because the song lyrics translated (just that verse) would be "Because I was born (human).", I think human is paranthesised because of the meaning of the verse. To answer Zetharl's question, A lot of japanese songs have english lyrics, it is just their culture.

Yes, all the pictures were either taken by me or created by me using pictures I had taken. Even the green background was made of some glow algorithms on photoshop. The purple and red twilight cliff scenery was actually shot out of a car window, and I heavily changed the color scheme, same kinda thing with the white forest landscape with the red-tinted cloud in the background.
