Cool vid! This is the first time I have seen the fire shooting out in the middle of the Giant. It wasn't working when I was there in May even though the sound effects were on.
@SeanFlaharty I think it was reported to have started working on July 16th (give or take a day or two), but I've been there 4 or 5 times since then and I've never seen the fire trigger in person. He was just lucky I guess :)
@NoLimitzki - The kind folks I was staying with when I was in the area in May said they hadn't seen it work yet either. I was also told the actual flame thrower used with this ride is the same one from Bizzaro in New England.....or possibly another Six Flags park. I can't remember exactly. Sorry. Too many TTD rides today. =:^)
Now that you've ridden the new Texas Giant, does it change your opinions about the Rocky Mountain woodies that you showed us in Rides That Never Made the Cut?
