  • Damn, he's hot

  • er black woman driver, could you be any more sexist/racist,she had to live with the accident and bring their son up alone.

  • mickey is singing!!!!--holy cow. he sounds ok to me. mickey is THE man.

    i love these guys.

  • I don't think he was on drugs or drunk; just appears to be exhausted. I mean, how many times did he sing this song before it probably got stale for him?

  • @boogiebabe67 This guy was drugged up to high heaven all the time, he was so high it was a feat to get him on the stage. If only he was drug free he could have done much more, like not hitting a tree on the A23.

  • @wisetrucker So, 'drugged up' or not, how could he have avoided hitting the tree when he wasn't driving (his girlfriend was)?

  • @geespar1 So do you think she didn't have any as well, a mini v tree, no contest.

  • @wisetrucker actually his girlfriend was driving.

  • @HarbiOverdrive I think somewhere on this post, you will see that I mentioned his black girlfriend was driving, they were also in a mini if that helps.

  • What do you mean a waste?!!! They guy went in and out like a firework. No waste there. Do you think he would have went gracefully in his dotage? Nah Marc Bolan did it his way. He won't RIP, he will still be rocking his little shoes off. ;)

  • not as good as he should be he must have been on something x pete

  • I have color photographs of T Rex when I shot them in a concert in Calgary in 1975. TO see the shots go to .ianmarkmusicphotos (.com)

  • I saw T. Rex concerts, Slade, Rod Stewart, Pink Floyd, Yes, Rick Wakeman, Blondie, the Police, U B 40, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Marley, Simon & Garfunkel, The Carpenters ... I had so much in the 70's and 80's.

  • NB: a THUMBS DOWN just signifies ignorance. So ignore them :)

  • 2 people have never rode a white swan...

  • Love it, takes me back to a wonderful era to grow up in. Hot pants, star stuck on my forehead, glitter around the eyes, long hair, long boots, long coat from Oxfam with home-made patches on it....soooooo hip. And a damn-site cheaper than designer-wear of today. We had FUN FUN FUN!! and didn't really give a sh*t what other people thought, just did our own thang ;-)))

  • a white swan within himself, we all admire and adore such great tunes he ranks with the greats. LOVE MARC BOLAN.xxx

  • im gonna state the obvious.these guys were waaaaaay ahead of there time.

  • Goldrapp makes a 'homage' called ' Called 'Ride a White Horse' but it's more of a glam-dance track though, but excellent!

  • Grew up listening to his stuff..I was a kid then and he was a man..Im now 48 and older than Marc when he died..I miss him and the music he wrote..The songs he left us are still ahead of their time..Some little kid in the future will still say "This guy was a genius and ahead of his time" RIP Marc..sadly missed.

  • @SuperNutty23 Well, I'm 20, so I'm not nearly old enough to have lived during Marc's time...But his music is as if I took everything I like of that general era of music and distilled it into it's more sublime, that's Bolan's music. Not sure I can say that he's ahead of his time, he seems to be the definition of his time.

  • Marc bolan is timeless.

  • @Pokestomper too true...what a genius..

  • @basenjib123 Oh, you're lucky indeed. I wasn't born 'til 16 years later. I'd give anything to go back in time and see T.Rex live.

  • @basenjib123 You are unbelivably lucky!!! I know I'm 15 but I feel ever so close to him, like he's my best friend.

  • @basenjib123 Nice comment,he was fab!

  • Excellent, and far more interesting than the cookie-cutter version from his MARC television show. This is when T.Rex was a band that distinguished itself from the norm. Lovely.

  • One of my fondest childhood memories was being given enough pocket money to go & buy this single (7" vinyl of course) running home & playing it over & over until my Dad said after the 100th time that enough was enough. I still have it (& my Dad too!)

  • OMG I fell in love with Marc in 1970. I was playing a cd in the car the other day and said to my dad, can you remember how I used to play his music non stop (still do).

  • R.I.P Mate. Miss ya loads. You bought music to themasses, gonna be playing your tunes while playing X-Box 360

  • R.I.P marc miss you 30 years on sunday :(

  • Marc Bolan is awesome !!!

  • Thank You for posting.

Marc Bolan's presence, and music, is another vivid reminder that rap, hip-hop, 'house-music', M.T.V./B.E.T., and BollyWood is brain-less boredom.
