The tasing was fine. Punching was not acceptable. In the USA, people are warned that if they won't put your hands behind your backs they will be tased again. You are always warned to comply before they tase again (and tasing isn't life threatening!).

It's not exactly torture. And why is it wrong to use pain to subdue criminals, that is better than causing them actual injury. A Demonstration against the Notts Police Authority meeting was called to demend that the Police are Accountable for their actions, It was originally to protest against the £700,000 bill for Operation Aeroscope on April 13 , 114 people were arrested for planning a protest, but so far no one has been charged with any offence. It will be expended to included this matter.
The protest is on June 24th at 9.30am at County Hall, Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Bring banners!

Outrageous! The officer punching the man needs to be disciplined. The man was on the floor with four police men. No need. This doesnt reassure me at all. It actually echoes the case where the news seller was hit unnecessarily and died in London.
