The funny part is that the venom of the brazilian wandering spider doesn't start fucking with you as fast as insinuated by the Fear. It's first, longest lasting symptom is a raging, near eternal erection caused by disastrously high blood pressure I like to call the Boneyard Boner. In fact, one of the first things doctors do to treat envenomation of this type is to bleed the dick.

Somehow I got lucky and he just sat in one place for the entire fight. It was like shooting fish in a barrel...I didn't get hit once (on the hardest setting)

I dislike the skull facepaint. The whole point of face camo is to break up the pattern of the human face, not throw it into stark relief.

It just seems out of character for Big Boss.

@DIVENTNA That depends, if you use f.death pill, all you need to do i throw a stung grenade and shoot him with an assault rifle, instead of his health, you will be taking his stamina.

The machine gun in question is the XM16E. You get it as follows. Remember that you had to enter the lab before this boss battle. Once you make it inside the walls of the lab complex, there is an ammo storage in the north east corner of the grounds. There is only one guard in the vicinity. Inside this storage you should find the M16.

i finished MGS3 and got the patriot and all those other stuff, now what should i do? (how can i use them)

you can continue if you saved at the very end. Between your save games, you should find 'Operation Snake Eater Completed with 001 after it, indicating you finished the first playthrough. It is basically starting a new game, but you still have all the previously collected camo, and the Patriot you got at the end. So you get that as a little advantage. You will still have to collect all the other items, like collectable weapons and items like thermal goggles, etc.

Throw a bunch of rotten/poison food around (there's poison frogs in the area). Tranq him a bit. When he gets low, he'll come down, eat the poison food and start vomiting. While he's doing this, shoot him.

i wouldnt count on that camo. it depletes your stamina very quickly. you have to beat the fear with stamina depletion

The easiest way to beat the Fear is also a stamina kill. Once the battle starts, cure yourself. Then use the fake death pill. You will die, and the Fear will come out of hiding to investigate. Thinking you are dead, he will turn his back on you. Take the revival pill, while he has his back turned on you. Then deploy a stun grenade to stun him. Quickly select the XM16E and shoot him. Instead of killing him, due to a glitch, it will deplete his stamina. This kills him in a few seconds.

Because it explains that he had micro bombs in his body that if he gets defeated he has to not leave a body, so they all explode

Started using things he didnt need, lol, though i do that all the time, i'll waste loads of things by accidently using them on the wrong type of wound.

The Fear is a big cheater. If you think he only uses that Spider Camo we receive you're totally wrong, because he uses the Stealth Camo at 95% camo index too, I think. This is why he's a green shaped person( Like us when we use our Stealth Camo but dragging an enemy- our camo index falls from 100% to 95%) when his stamina is over the half of its full capacity. I hate him, but I like battling him and seeing him eating poisonous food and throwing up, loosing more stamina and life :)

I hated this boss fight. I couldnt do it. Then i came here and realized u can use the thermal goggles to spot him. After that it was easy.

No, but The Fear is very easy even in European Extreme. Only let his stamina fall to the half and start giving him rotten things and that will be very funny: He'll throw up and loose more stamina. I have never used the thermal googles in his battle, you don't need. Only protect yourself from the arrows behind the tree in the very southwest (run quickly to there when the battle starts or The Fear will hit you, but be careful because of the traps).

Feed him rotten food, and then when he gets all sick, run up to him and knock his ass in the dirt. Shoot him with your trank gun then. He'll be about dead.

There's a way. You use the death pill, then when he turns around, revive, hit him with a stun nade and go postal with the AK47 on him.
