a friend of mine WAS a paremedic until one day he was en route to a chase scene. he was following a sheriff car in pursuit of a woman with her daughter in the car. as they approached a curve in the road she sideswiped a p/u truck with 2 people in back.truck rolled, throwing the riders to the pavement. cop missed them, but the paramedic ran them both over, turning them into ground beef. he quit that night.
