We have lost many of these fine actors over the last 10years (now 2012), not many of them left, and definitely there is NO TALENT to fill their shoes. This was a film that she loved to do, cause it gave her a chance to show her other side.

The abrupt change in tone -- that is good acting! If I didn't know better, I could almost believe, as the audience in the movie does, that the refinement is an act and the street-wise performer is the real her, rather than the other way around.
