Very few examples of timeless music...this may be one of the best. I'll actually be able to tell my children their was music I was proud of from my generation. Archers will be at the top of the list!
honestly, I'm young and I love "old" music... mainstream music was higher standard music before the 80s... that said, I think today, as in every decade since rock'n'roll was brought to the large audience, there is a lot of good music. Musicianships standards are higher than in the past. Just mainstream channels won't let most good music be known to a larger audience. That's it.
Great song! I feel biased and old like haulinOats. Most folks think Icky Mettle was these kids' best, but All The Nations Airports is really a pretty album, listened to end to end.
White Trash Heroes is every bit as great as those two. Not to mention Vee Vee. Not sure who your talking about when you say most folks. But if you listen to all their cd's they are all brilliant. If your judging their cd's by which is the best from end to end, well gl with that. No matter what end of their cd's or what end of their career you start at its very hard to find a weak link with these guys!

This is from the album "All the Nations Airports". This and Icky Metal are by far the best albums. Crooked finger also is pretty awesome!

@Swipich Indeed. Saw 'em in Minneapolis. It was without a doubt one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Viva Archers!!! Maybe Im just biased and old, but back when I was in my early 20's music was so much better.
haulinOats 4 years ago 25
yeah, compare it to shitty bands today. 90s were better

i couldn't agree more.

@haulinOats I would say that is a bit biased and that it stems from you being old.
