You got a big screen. good job on all the landing prceduresI I love flight sims I have the pmgd 744 i love it I also have the wilco a380 I like them both. Its something else that people would spend alot money on flight sim products. like the yoke throttle fmc just to get close to flying a real airliner. its cool i enjoy it. I like all the procedures.

Hi man, great videos you have. It´s always nice to have someone to through these steps of navigation as it can otherwise often become quite hard to follow.

I has wondering if you could maybe do something like this with the FMC fully programmed with departure, flight and approch :)

There´s a guy called WTurbiasz here on youtube who did a tutorial on PMDGs FMC but it´s nine 10 minute parts so it isn´t really so good to follow along with like your videos are.

Great landing, hope you can do a similar one with the PMDG MD-11, I'm already flying it, but I need it to study a lot, and all I can say is: WOW ! what an amazing and inmersive simulation, it's an expensive package, but its worth every penny.

Hi I was trying to make an approach using naigation charts from Guayaquil FIR but I could not fing the ANBUR and -DEVAS points on the FMC I am using the PMDG 747 amd the MD-11 so do you know Lespindo which points should I have to use on the FMC to make a real approach,

Hi pspslim, yes I did program some pages of the FMC/CDU, but I did not program a route because I was flying the approach raw data, in other words I was flying the aircraft not the FMC.

twasono, you can't see anything out side because I am doing instrument approach procedures. and the visibility was very low. I saw the runway at 300 feet..

Why do you disengaged autopilot just before landing if it was all configured for an autoland ?

It's all about minimums. At 300 feet or so I saw the runway and I took over.. I just love it!!!

As you can see I'm Flying Instrument procedures,so that means that i am not using the on board computer to do the job. I am flying all procedures my self not the Flight management computer. I need to be right on the money, no room for errors.

You need to scan your instruments all the time untill your done.If you have Fs2004 you can go to instrument flying and learn. If you do, then your Flight simulation experience will change for ever.

I believe you forget about setting up your auto pilot for an eventual overshoot. and the overshooting of the localiser is a little much. nice video all in all. friendly yours.

I'm sure you are, your screen attests to that. We need to set things up well in advance, heading and altitude for overshoot(fly 10 miles ahead of our airplane!) Then you will have 100% attention available for the approach. (I know it does not help for filming!) :-)

OMG... what a beautiful screen, a Yoke, an FMC...a B747PMDG... all is perfect but...... you fly with autopilot until the MDA !! and you fly in 2D cockpit !! That is really really soo stupid ! Your simulito is soo much expensive and you fly like that...i can't believe that...so good simulator and autopilot in a 2D cockpit...i can't believe that...

Dear bobby4078, as you can see I am instrument flying, there is no room for errors. what you see is what you have to do in real life!!! Maybe you don't like it but that's life.... Going back to the 2D cockpit,

When I fly instruments I need to be in 2D cockpit, I can see everything right there. 747 pilots friends of mine feel the same way!!!!

Firstly sorry for my bad english but I'll try to explain what I wanna say.

So I don't say that you are bad, and that you don't do the good procedure. The only thing i try to say is that FOR MY OPINION, i think that 3D cockpit is better and more real that in a 2D cockpit. Cause instruments are to the good place, and with software like active camera, Track IR you can be really more realistic than a 2D cockpit.

With a 2D cockpit you havn't got any vibrations and sensations...........

But one thing I whant you understand is that I don't say you're bad, you're not a bad pilot ;) I just think that you can be more realist.

Just a last thing, whith the autpilot, real pilot doesn't disangage it at the MDA, some pilot disengaged the autopilote at FL100 ! So when I saw you wait in front of you computer and do nothing, I think it's pity to not use you're Yoke.
