a lot of people have the wrong idea about triggers for some reason. They seem to think its like cheating, when in reality they are just taking the place of a mic. they have no effect on the actual playing.

actually, he uses a mixture of the two, if youve seen the Arch enemy DVD on his equipment section of the disc im retty sure he states he uses triggers but like to get some analogue sound there to keep it more real, but with metal drummers a consistant bass drum sound is pivotal so tbh he wouldnt benefit from not having a trigger, it just makes the sound consistant not alter the way he plays it.
