This is a good video, it's so true that the color will be in it's truest form when you use a concealer, however i was just checking out the MAC website and in the lip section they have something just like this but specifically for the lips. Anyhow your very pretty and great video!:)

I do this too! Concealer makes my lips look so much nicer than when i just put on the lipstick alone. That or foundation while I'm applying it on my face. Just a little I swipe over my lips.

Instead of concealer, try using a lip primer to make the color last longer - when you use concealer, the color from the concealer blends with the lipstick and makes it paler. Just a suggestion.

Do you know that by appling a concealer first its not really gonna stay as a base its gonna mix and blend with your lipstick. It will go on with the lipstick.

lovemakeup15: What I've noticed is that if you use a dry concealor is does create it a nice base..as long as you don't use a lot. If you use a liquid concealor and put lipstick on right away then yes it will blend together. But this has always worked for me.
