  • what a lovely place the many times i have passed through the village and am ashamed to say i didnt know the roman bath existed i will pay a visit very soon thanks for sharing

  • @SuperBusbyboy , Yes its worth a visit. :-)

  • Next time you're on Ilkley moor... I'll show you what I do with GC's... They make excellent tinder. This is the activity of townies not understanding or respecting the countryside and local wildlife. LOL

  • Hi Paul, Really nice woodland you were in there, the sound of the brook was really relaxing and soothing to the ear. I enjoy walks through woodlands, there is something about woodlands that give you a quiet sense of relaxation and calmness. Really enjoyed your video. Thanks Paul for sharing such a lovely place.

  • Hi Paul, this is St Dyfnog's church, llanrhaeader! BEAUTIFUL! I remember it when you did a video before, and I always get it a bit mixed up with 'llanrhaeadr ym mochant's' church in Powys. They're so very similar. Loved the sound of the brook and the church. Can't wait to get back to Wales shortly (and maybe do some geocaching!) Great vid. Take care, Nicola x

  • @nthrcrpusrnme , Hi Nicola, hope your ok! Glad you liked it, and hope you do get back to Wales soon and maybe try some geocaching too..thanks for watching :-)

  • Two things worried me.

1 You were allowed outside denbigh

2 You went back in time

Oh dear. I shall have to oil the Tardis to rescue you again!

    Great video Paul.

    Welldone

    Sandy

  • @g0vqw , yes indeed, let me know when the Tardis is ready! Thanks Sandy :-)

  • Great vid and a lovely walk. I gather that the roman pool was quite famous at one time and people would come from miles around to bathe in it's (reputedly healing) waters.

  • @wibomps , Thanks Bill, Yes I heard that too...great area. We are lucky here in North Wales. :-)

  • I always get the urge for a No:2 when walking in woodland.. ha ha - My Q is besides looking out for a GC whats my chances of finding a Portaloo? as I think I would need one of those well before finding a Geocache

    Nice video Paul... :-)))

  • @Bevoin1970 , Haha..portaloo...you can have a shovel and some paper..haha. Thanks Paul :-)

  • oh, and can you let me know your name on the GC webby please ? :o)

  • @Henllan , Name is PH1972, yes enjoying it, Cheers Ian :-)

  • Got the bug huh? Better start getting some of your own out :o))

  • At first I am wondering what a Geocache is...Still don't know. What a delightful area and lovely music Paul. The sound of running water is very Therepeutic...

  • @silverstartrucker , Thanks Arthur, a Geocache is an item which you place with a log bog to sign, for other geocachers to find, there is a website which you join and then get the co-ordinates for the location of the cache..its good fun and walking. :-)

  • @007vauxhall - Not much use to me. Not going down Colwick Park on the scooter in this weather. I have looked it up on Google...btw

  • you tease !

  • @wezchef , LoL :-)

  • That`s another two in the bag , and you did`nt give away their location either , nice one Paul

  • @DENBIGHVIDS , Yes thats right, tried not to give too much away..LoL.. Cheers Graham :-)

  • That outdoor pool was cool, I bet it feels good in the summer ;-)) I've never done this, someday I'll have to try it. Thanks for sharing Paul and Take Care my friend :-))

  • @SurviveN2 , Yes its a good hobby Dragon, it gets you out and about. Thanks for watching it :-)

  • Geocaching seems like a great excuse to get outside and into nature.

Any ideas what that pool is for at 5:24?

I'd imagine one of the great advantages of walking in the dead of winter is you get most of the place to yourself.

    Great video Paul.

  • @rickvanman , Yes its an enjoyable hobby Rick, and yes it gets you out there (not that I need an excuse) LoL. The pool is known locally as the Roman Bath, but in truth its not old enough for that, it is old but I think was made to look Roman. Thanks Rick. :-)

  • @rickvanman The pool is a Roman Bath :o)

  • @Henllan Brrrrrr! Thats one chilly dip!

  • @Henllan , Ah..I had heard at first it was a Roman Bath..then told no its not old enough, but (Henllan) knows his stuff..so it is a Roman Bath. :-))

  • Very nice that enjoyed it! :-)

  • @RobCharles1981 , Cheers Rob. :-)

  • @007vauxhall :-)
