Yeah snake, can't you see his breasts?

  • GGGGgggggggggyyyyahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

  • Didn't you used to hate not having the level 4 card.

  • 03:10 People who said Superman is the only one faster than a bullet didn't knew about Snake!

  • He got hit by and old guy with a walking cane. I laughed.

  • Again, MGS1 is one of the greatest PS1 games ever of all time and I never grow tired of playing this game either. I still have this game after so many years now and it never gets old. :)

  • I liked this but you missed the scene where she runs and pycho mantis appears, one of the most epic scenes i have seen in metal Gear.

  • mgs was the first game i ever played and enjoyed i was pretty young so i didnt remember much ever since ive played every mgs title including most of the side titles

  • This game is still such a great classic. I still have this game for PS1 plus MGS: The Twin Snakes for Nintendo GameCube too. Both games are the best including the entire Metal Gear series too. I've heard that this November, they are also going to release the MGS HD Collection set for both PS3 and Xbox 360 and it's going to feature remastered HD versions of MGS2, MGS3, and MGS: Peace Walker along with some other great additional features. It'll be so great and I'm thinking of getting it for PS3.

  • Nice video as always and excellent work on it too. YouTube is really such a great place to watch a variety of videos at and I personally don't mind either. I really like coming here to YouTube all the time and watch some great videos that I know as well as videos that are my most favorites. It's so awesome and YouTube is the best just for my opinion. I don't really like it though sometimes when certain videos here at YouTube get removed for certain reasons and that stinks when that occurs too.

  • @KBV91 You're right, they actually should make a port 4 the PS3!

  • I even ordered the book!

  • I love the part when Ocelot appears.XD.The dialogue is so intense and threatening, the soundtrack is very intimidating to the player and surrounding (from the beginning to the end). The characters are just incredible well-maded and written. This game is just perfect and memorable.I will never forget it. ; )

  • 0:45

    "Make love to me, Snake!"

  • fucking kojima with small dick should make mgs1 for ps3

  • @KBV91 uhhh you can buy it on the ps store...

  • "DONT JUST STAND THERE, SHOOT!"

    "YOU FUCKING ATE MY GUN!"

  • Why did the black guy die?

  • @MrMarket24 i believe the key word "pentagon" triggered something planted in him that caused a heart attack instantly so he wouldn't be able tell certain information

  • Hey snake, to stop metal gear you need three card keys to be inserHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!

  • I have this game on the PSP it is AWESOME!!!!!

  • @DoomSlayerBombAwsome psp? i didnt know it came out for that?!?!?!

  • This game would be perfect if it was on xbox 360

MGS1 THE BEST GAME IN PS1

  • Why is this in 480p? The entire game is in like 1p lol

  • Tekken 3 and MGS= BEST ps1 games Ever...

  • Some what random but MUST BE KNOWN!!!!!!

THE DARPA CHIEF IS SIGINT FROM MGS3!!! I'M ON A OFFICAL MGS4 DATABASE THING ON MY PS3 AND IT SAYS SO!!!!

    NO BULLSHIT!!!!!

  • @DiggerDeeper1 yes you are right, eva is big mama, and so on I'm not a bragger but I have THE metal gear series almost eteched i my brain...kind of a big fan lol

  • @DiggerDeeper1

    wow captain onvious ehh?

  • @DiggerDeeper1 Dude, you obiously never played MGS1, the Darpa chief never dies. it is Decoy Octopus who disguised himself as the Darpa Chief. So appearing in MGS3 is totally plausible. Decoy Octopus died...

  • @theras18 on top of that MGS 3 is a prequel so it wouldve been plausible either way.

  • Classic

  • lol that scared look in your eyes :P they black slits ;)

  • POOR DARPA CHIEF from MGS3 AKA SIGANT

  • This is storytelling at it's BEST!

  • @Rookerman32

LOL you should pick up a book sometime xD

  • @PseudonymPlayer

You should pick up a dildo sometimes.

  • @Rookerman32

  • @PseudonymPlayer

    Mom jokes are hackneyed, retard.

  • @Rookerman32

No Rookieman32, pownage still smacked u in the face ;)

I feel so much joy knowing I hit u in the spot rookie, hmmm it feels good ^__^

  • @PseudonymPlayer

LMFAO, Rookerman32 got powned all right

  • this GAME is better than any MOVIE if seen

  • @tomtomastina

The Splinter Cell series are better than the Metal Gear Solid series.

Metal Gear Solid 1 is the best game of the series.

This is the best cutscene of the Metal gear Solid 1 game.

  • @Rookerman32 u idiot the splinter cell series is not better than mgs series

  • I fucken hate it when those solders rush into the room with Meryle, because I have such a fucken hard time learning the controls for the socom. Fuck man. I always use at leat one ration, and it's all because I can't fucken aim with that fucken Socom. Fuck man, tap square to aim and then release to fucken shoot. FUCK!!!!! Once I get past the first wave of soldiers, I can handled the rest by going to the corner of the room, but the first wave piss me off!!!!!

  • why did u get rid of codecs?

  • u really know alot about MGS...cool.

I'm still learning bout the game

  • This game rocks and MGS1 is still such a brilliant masterpiece too. This is really such a great game to play. I still have this game for the PS1 and it's already one of my most favorite video games ever as well as one of my favorite games so far for PS1 and it's also one of my most favorite MGS games in the MGS video game series too along with MGS: The Twin Snakes, MGS2, MGS2: Substance, MGS4, and a few other great games. MGS1 will always remain as a great classic. This game never gets old. :)

  • Great video again and great job on it too. This is so awesome and I'm glad that YouTube has such great videos here especially with a variety of different videos and favorites that you can watch, play over again, save, and share with other friends here too. It's so awesome and I'm glad that YouTube has such great videos yet again. This may be one of the best places yet on the Internet so far just to watch videos and YouTube is already one of my favorite websites too. It's really so great.

  • that codec code on the back of the case pissed me off so much!!!!

  • @VanGurpinator why that (i naver played mgs1)

  • @creed455 I rented the game and didnt have the original case. There was a part in the game where you needed to contact someone and they said their codec number was on the back of the game case, which I didnt have.

  • @VanGurpinator haha, fail! well, so u buyed it?

  • Oh I meant the Arms Tech president scene btw

  • I sold that stupid-ass Gamecube remake they completely ruined this scene and the Hind scene, they turned into the f***ing Matrix!

  • they should remake this AGAIN it was such a good game

  • its on the back of the CD case! I was the only one in my class who could figure that out!

  • MY HAND!!

  • 1:14 shit me up the first time I played this!

  • great game japnees maind

  • They just don't make games with this great of story anymore...

  • Man it really feels so great to be back online again. I couldn't be signed in and everything for almost two months now and it has been so frustrating too. At least I'm finally back online again though for now at least and it really feels so great to be back too. I hope I don't ever run into anymore computer problems like this again either. By the way, great video again as always. MGS will always be the best of the best. :)

  • Up there with my top 3 favourite games of all time!

  • look at the graphics on here lol

  • Lol. Then again i woould rather play this then some of the shit out there today.

  • The metal gear producers sure have a thing for using the same lines in different sequels, at 2:00 "you havent taken the safety off rookie" was in MGS4, and " you were lucky, we'll meet again" was in MGS3, and at 4:46 "im like you, i have no name" which was in MGS2. well anyway you get the point im trying to make.

  • Watch the entire games and maybe you'll understand it better.

  • Hahahahaha You were lucky, we'll meet again! Damn my favorite line from Revolver Ocelot

  • mine was six bullets more than enough to kill anything that moves

  • Meryl Has a famas lol

  • MGS=hands down the best ps1 game ever

  • The Official PlayStation Magazine agrees with you.

  • STFU Kayne West! LOL

  • LordOfTheLard ,Final Fantasy VII was in second place. It says so on the Official PlayStation Magazine.

  • @LocoGroove Definatly!

  • @LocoGroove the best GAME ever ;)

  • @LocoGroove

yeah man i agree with you.Its the best played on PS1

  • @LocoGroove

    Best game, period.

  • @LocoGroove noooooooooooooooooooooooo no no

Resident evil 1-3 is the best but street fighter ex 2 plus is also the best and then this comes in 3rd

  • @StreetFighterExProd Yeaaaaaah it is, a lot of people agree with me too! I like Resident evil and street fighter but this atmosphere, the storyline...MGS Is amazing.

  • @LocoGroove correction: MGS=hands down best game ever!

  • Oh shit. This is thrilling.

  • LOL Ocelot seems like a big showoff or something when it comes to spinning his gun. LOL Every time Ocelot spins his revolver, he seems like a great big showoff.

  • MGS1 rules! I know that this may be a PC version of MGS1, but it's still the best and it really strongly resembles the PS1 version too when you think about it since both versions are exactly alike. I really love the PS1 version better though. It's so awesome and I believe that it's also one of THE best-selling titles ever released in video game history for the PS1 console. Simply the best. :)

  • MUF?

  • According to President Kenneth Baker from MGS1, MUF stands for "material unaccounted for" in case you didn't know, briano5678.

  • I was such a fag. Always tryied to zoom in enough to see his brown eye.

  • not an rpg its a stealth action game

  • Me lo di vuelta Metal Gear ^^ que momentos ...

  • Great video clip again. MGS rules! :)

  • C-4.... !

  • Man this game is still the best. This game shall be treasured for a lifetime for many years to come. Such a great masterpiece. MGS1 rocks and the MGS series rules! :)

  • The new design that is shown for the video player now at some of these videos such as this video clip right here seems okay, I suppose. Not too bad, I guess. I probably liked the old design a little better though. Anyway though, great video clip again. MGS rules! :)

  • "Oh yeah, hng....Oh, I forgot." XD!

  • I have one question that I'm just wondering about and this was something that I've noticed between MGS1 and MGS: The Twin Snakes. It's about the voice actors for each of the games. How come in MGS1 they had original voice actors for all of the characters and then in the remake there were all new voice actors of almost the same type? For example, in MGS1 the voice actor for Otacon was Christopher Fritz and in MGS: The Twin Snakes it was then Christopher Randolph. What's the difference exactly?

  • They were the same people with different names. The reason why they have different names however is because the Union they were in might not have taken too kindly to them voicing for this game. So they disguised their names for the original. Apparently the Union approved of them in the remake, so they used their real names.

  • Oh okay then. I understand now. Thanks for the info and I was wondering about that at first too. Like for example, the voice actor of Otacon in MGS1 was Christopher Fritz and then in MGS: The Twin Snakes, his last name was changed to Randolph. That was what I've noticed already and sometimes I notice that too with other video games as well. For example, in the Resident Evil video game series, the voice actor for Leon S. Kennedy in RE2 at first was Paul Haddad and in RE4, it was Paul Mercier.

  • probably because the guy that did it in twin snakes also played Yakko Warner on The Animaniacs

  • The guy who did Gray Fox's voice in the original game put more emotion and made his voice sound more epic then the one in Twin Snakes.

  • The Darpa Cheif is Sigent from Metal Gear Solid 3 snake eater the guy whos naked on the ground outside of the cell (the guard Maryle beat up for his cloths) is Johnny who she will soon marry in MGS4 (he will also prove to be the teams greatist allie) if you dont beleave me in MGS4 on the part when maryle and johnny are fighting those girls down in that ship thing when johnny says : I loved you from the first day i meet you" press the ''x'' button and it will flash back on that scene.

  • lol "it should be on the back of the CD case" this was the first game i ever got for my PSX and i still love this game defeating psycho mantis by plugging into port 2 so he cant read your mind this game is a true 10/10

  • Heh, this game doesn't have the matrix scene that was in Twin Snakes. :p

  • BAKER: "That's not what you promised, Jim! Now you wanna shut me up!"

    SNAKE: "Calm down!"

LOL That part in MGS1 and MGS: The Twin Snakes was so hilarious when Baker started attacking Snake with his cane. LOL I think Baker lost his mind there or something. Great video yet again though and MGS1 is still the best. :)

  • is the man with the revolvers the young man in snake eater?!?!?!?!?!someone plz help. who is ocelot, liquid ocelot, liquid snake and etc,?

  • LOL Okay. I think I can be able to help you out here with your current questions, Redrocket14. First off, yes. The young man in MGS3 was the very same Ocelot from the later MGS games. The reason why Ocelot was so young in MGS3 was because that the events of that game took place four decades before MGS1 and MGS2. Liquid Snake is Solid Snake's twin brother who first appeared in MGS1 as the main antagonist and he was one of the clones created from Big Boss alongside Solid Snake and Solidus Snake.

  • Finally, in case you're wondering too, Liquid Ocelot is Liquid Snake combined with Revolver Ocelot and this first occurred during the events of MGS2. After the events of MGS1 when Ocelot lost his right arm, he replaced it with Liquid's arm in which made the spirit of Liquid take control of Ocelot during certain parts of MGS2 usually when Solid Snake was around. By the events of MGS4, Liquid has finally taken complete control of Ocelot in which he was then further addressed as Liquid Ocelot.

  • thanks. so the leader of shadow moses is liquid snake. and right hand man ocelot. ,the young man in snake eater, who in shadow moses challenges snake to a duel. who relaces his hand with liquids right? but who is solidus snake and solid sake? again thanks alot. its jus t i dont know whats goin on in mgs4

  • You're welcome then and you are right about both Liquid and Ocelot from MGS1 too. That's correct, Redrocket14. By the way, Solidus Snake, in case you're wondering, was the fictional antagonist of MGS2 and he was another clone of Big Boss as well along with both Solid Snake and Liquid Snake. Solidus was also the fictional U.S. President in the MGS series during the events of the Shadow Moses Island Incident from MGS1 where he was known as President George Sears.

  • right i get it now! thanks alot. so george sears solidus snake was a corrupt president?

  • yes george sears was in with dead cell

  • Yes. I guess you can say that then, Redrocket14. George Sears a.k.a. Solidus Snake was also one of the members of Dead Cell in MGS2 just like what atp777777 said from before alongside with Fortune, Vamp, and Fatman. All of the members of Dead Cell were defeated by the end of the events of MGS2 except for Vamp which was why he appeared in MGS4. Also, Liquid was that young man and the leader of the rebellion who appeared at the beginning of MGS1 who stated that he had a couple flies to swat down.

  • One more thing too, Redrocket14. I really hope that that was your very last question too. Now I appreciate all of your questions and me helping you out and all, but I'm starting to get tired of replying back so much. So maybe we should just give it a rest right now, don't you think? Thanks for all of your questions from before though and I was glad to help you out too. I understand now mostly about the events that have occurred in the MGS video game series so far right now which is why I know.

  • thanks for all your replies. have a good day!!!

  • You're welcome then, Redrocket14, and you have a great day too. Thanks again and I'll probably see you around sometime! :)

  • Solidus doesn't appear in MGS4 because he was defeated by Raiden at the very end of MGS2 and the events of MGS4 takes place in the year 2014 which is five years after the main events of MGS2. That is why MGS4 is a direct sequel to MGS2. Also, I think you should know who Solid Snake is. Almost anyone who knows the MGS series knows him. He's the main hero of the MGS games and the main playable character too in almost all the games. So I think you should really know who Solid Snake is, Redrocket14.

  • but how come revolver ocelot looks identical to liquid? wait. the young man at the start of mgs1 who says i swatted some flies or whatever. is tht liquid? who then took over ocelots body still looks identical to liquid? does that mean the leader of the rebellion was the young man and his right hand man was srangley older? usually youd expect teh leader to be the oldest. this is my last question promise lol!!!!!!

  • Liquid was younger than Ocelot in MGS1 while Ocelot was older in MGS1 and he was younger in MGS3 and Liquid wasn't even around yet back then when the events of MGS3 occurred. After Liquid died at the end of MGS1, his right arm then becomes transplanted onto Ocelot's right arm that he lost to Gray Fox in MGS1 which is why Liquid's spirit was then taking control of Ocelot in certain parts of MGS2 and then finally taking over complete control of him in MGS4.

  • lol, he takes his severed hand with him.

    MY HAND!!

  • wot about the codec calls?

  • i know they cut em out how lame is that =[

  • LOL Man I just loved that part yet again from MGS1 and MGS: The Twin Snakes where President Baker was attacking Snake with his cane. That was so hilarious and I totally agree with lalalei2001's comment response about it too. It was so awesome.

BAKER: "That's not what you promised, Jim! Now you wanna shut me up!"

    SNAKE: "Calm down!"

LOL Really the best. I'm sure Baker probably wouldn't have attacked Snake though with his cane if he didn't know about what happened to the fake DARPA Chief.

  • Man this game is still the best and I have to say that it's a very classical game too for everyone to enjoy. MGS1 rocks! I would also like to nominate MGS1 as one of the best-selling video games ever for the PS1 console alongside Gran Turismo. Both MGS1 and Gran Turismo for the PS1 are simply the best and because of MGS1's stunning gameplay events, wonderful voice acting, and brilliant graphics, this game is really, without a doubt, THE best MGS game overall and the greatest PS1 game ever. :)

  • 'Hmmm... dead'

    You think Snake?

  • That man and his spinning gun fetish

  • Ocelot sounds like White Goodman from Dodgeball.

  • I cracked up when Baker hit Snake with his cane. XD

  • LOL I loved that part on MGS1 and on MGS: The Twin Snakes as well, lalalei2001. It was so hilarious.

BAKER: "That's not what you promised, Jim! Now you wanna shut me up!"

    SNAKE: "Calm down!"

  • Fav part in the whole game! Well, besides when Ocelot got his arm cut off... ._.;

  • LOL I liked that part too, IamMrsRZ. It was so hilarious. Basically for me so far, I don't really know if I have a favorite part of the game that I liked the most, but I still liked the whole game though. It was so awesome, it had excellent graphics and gameplay, everything about this game was flawless. This game is, without a doubt, THE best-selling video game ever of all time and the best video game ever for the PS1. :)

  • LOL Yeah. That was so hilarious, lalalei2001. I liked that part too and it was so funny. :)

  • LOL Aahhh... The old days of using a card key for every door. Such a great classic. I would have to nominate this game the best-selling PS1 game ever of all time alongside Gran Turismo. :)

  • this game and Gran Turismo alone prevented the PS1 from being a failure which is pretty awesome cause they were about to scrap it too

  • Yeah, I think I already know about that now, JustinSuhr4. In my opinion though, I think both MGS1 and GT1 would have to be considered as best-selling games to ever be released for the PS1 of all time. They're both so awesome. I even have both games already too and I still love playing them every now and then.

  • "Theres nothing like slamming a long silver bullet into a well greased chamber"

    Ahhhhh... So classic...

I swear to god they don't make games like this anymore...

  • too bad ocelot get controled in MGS4

  • it funny ocelot in every metal gear he got his ass kicked by either big boss or snake

  • ocelot always puts on a great performance

  • poor Ocelot...He's been getting brutalized in every game he was in XD

  • Thanks for agreeing with me, Twilight0012, and I know that I was right too. I don't know why everyone else though had random answers that didn't even make any sense when they answered to DJKillzz's question.

  • OBAMA

  • ROFL

  • he is not rolling on the laughing he was rolling on the floor dying

  • I think it looks like Carlton Banks from Fresh Prince...

  • why did he have a heart attack/

  • Both Decoy Octopus who was disguised as the DARPA Chief Donald Anderson and President Kenneth Baker had heart attacks in the game due to the FOXDIE virus that affected them which was carried around by Snake. Liquid was also affected by the FOXDIE virus at the end of the game which caused him to get a heart attack too.

  • I think Mantis did that to him. I'm not sure.

  • It's kind of awkward seeing Ocelot being so young in MGS3: Snake Eater, now old.

  • Well PinoyFlash, the events of MGS3 took place way back before the events of the other MGS video games. MGS3 is a prequel so that was why Ocelot looked young in that game while in the other MGS games he was older.

  • Yes I know that, but through 2 Games, it's kind of a change to see everyone young, to everyone old in MGS 4, at least the main protagonists and antagonists.

  • Well yes. I see what you're saying now though.

  • Otacon still looks young. man.

  • Never realized that.

  • you haven't even taken the safety off rookie. LOL a classic dialogue from Snake.

  • man the metal gears have improved their graphics but mgs1 stiii has the best storyline

  • I remember when i was 8, i thought these graphics were top shit. Now looking at MGS4, the MGS series have come along way

  • Actually Snake was genetically engineered before his birth to have a shorter than average life span as well as the ability to reproduce being engineered out. naomi explains this in MGS4

  • at 01:14 they cut the scene with the naked soldiers ass! In japan also, only in europe you can see his ass! : )

  • That naked guy is Johnny(AKIBA) =) I lol'd so much when i saw thoses flash backs in mgs4

  • Well, the reason why the characters in the game were mentioning about the back of the CD case or the back of the package was because Meryl's codec frequency was located on the back of the cases. Baker forgot what Meryl's codec frequency was so that was why he told Snake to look on the back of the CD case in order to find it.

  • there is a scene missing from here. when pyshco mantis comes.

  • When President Baker said the back of the CD case, he meant on the back of the MGS1 game case, bumphead55. That was also the same thing for MGS: The Twin Snakes except on the remake, President Baker called that case a package.
