This game has a ton of problems. It's not a perfect 10/10 game, but it was fun. Some of the problems I have with the game are the clone characters, the final boss in story mode is very cheap, the online lag, some of the character's final smashes were horrible, and that the game just isn't fun playing by yourself. I would recommend this game to someone that has a little sibling, child, or friend that they can play it with, but otherwise, this is a pass.

Also more stage creator options and more characters such as:

megaman,rayman, geno(super mario rpg), shy guy, simon belmont, bomberman, banjo kazooie, wolflink, midna, goku, ichigo, naruto, ray 01, mii, amertarasu(okami)

And bring back dr.mario, pichu, roy, mewtwo and board the platforms mode.

it IS balanced. whenever sonic moves really slow, he is easy to control. whenever he moves extremely fast, it's hard not to fall off the stage. it's not like you can dart back and forth across the screen.

n64 12 chars gc 25? or more i dont remember . you couldnt even load your smash atack on the first! you couldnt even dodge an atack! ( shield and down) and there are about 15 pokemons on the n64 vers. on melee there are over 30. n64 had 10 stages or less. melle has 29.

there are trophys on melle. adventure mode. all star mode.... and and and

i can go on and on and i haven't even played it yet...!

The idea of the wii is that it does both, this game is more of a classic title, the last thing Nintendo wanted was to mess up a classic with controls that could ruin the game.

I recommend this game for all hard core gamers its a stone cold classic :)

yeah actually you can change the settings for the wiimote and nunchuk; you can smash attack by shaking the wiimote in the direction of the smash attack you want to do.
