Yeah, often people mislabel progessive-fantasy metal as power metal. It's basically endless soloing with soundalike singers and lyrics that are similar to power metal. However, since "power metal" also describes the music (which many do not realize), this is not really power metal. Power metal music is much closer to NWOBHM, thrash, and neo-classical metal. True power metal bands include, for real examples of this term, Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Jag Panzer, Sabaton, Manowar, etc.

vocals are awkward, and the drumming is horrible, synths arent too amazing, and the guitars are boring, and those thingies, i dont know what theyre called.. shut them up.

well, that is your opinion. Anyway, this band has started now, so give them a little bit of time and then, say whatever. I don't think they're bad, but it's obvious they're not the best band in the whole world. They're just good and at the moment I like them.

they can make something descent, but i wouldnt call them good.

They sort of sound like Secret Sphere, just without a good drummer, a good singer, and a good guitarist
