  • I wonder what would happen if Ulillillia started getting interested in Bullet Hell games like DoDonPachi. He might world record it.

  • Hey Ulillillia, when was the last time you played this game? Do you still find interesting things to do in it?

  • I haven't touched this game for a few years now. Disgaea has taken over almost everything as far as gaming goes. After all, what other game allows for 1000+ hours straight of powerleveling and still allow you to get more powerful even though nothing stands up to 9-figure damage? 2300 total hours in 2 Disgaea games in just 24 months is extreme, beyond any other game I've played. When I get bored of working on Platform Masters again, I'll be at Disgaea 2 again, streaming it.

  • bubsy 3d fo life fo sho!

  • Only problems with Bubsy 3D is the Framerate and missing a architecture.

  • The frame rate in Bubsy 3D is good. It's the graphics quality that really needs improvement. I grade the graphics in this game an F.

  • @ulillillia Then the framerate is Middle then, in least the framerate in Bubsy 3D is smoother than Doom on Sega Saturn.

I think Bubsy 3D is a okay game, just has some issues.

  • What, 60 fps is not smooth? Even 30 fps would be fine for this game. Much below 20 fps is when you should start to get concerned with the frame rate. Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly has far worse frame rate issues. Quite often, I see it dropping below 7 fps in that game which makes precise control very difficult.

  • @ulillillia Spyro Enter the Dragonfly got bad framerate?

It only came on PS2 and Gamecube, which one is better or all of them are bad.

  • The Gamecube version is the only one I've ever had. I sold it a few years ago as I don't like the newer Spyro games (frame rate issues aside). There's one speedway with a rainbow and clouds all over that's especially bad on the frame rate and is where I got the 7 fps case with (I saw the timer jumping by 0.14 second each frame which is how I know). There are many areas where the frame rate drops below 20 fps and control starts getting difficult.

  • @ulillillia And the PS2 version loads too long, just like The Wrath of Cortex on PS2

  • That's gotta be the foggiest ground I've ever seen.

  • Did you ever discover the bug where you can beat the entire game in under 3 seconds?

  • Unless you use cheats, and go through level 18 right off the bat, 3 seconds is impossible.

  • baha

  • And because of this we now have Unchated Golden Abyss.

  • @GREYIII what?

  • Seanbaby am cry...

  • Hello and welcome to The Comedy Button!

  • the music to me sounds like what goes on in a paranoid schzophrenics mind

  • I don't know why but I just watched the whole thing.

  • you ever reach the debug room in level 3?

  • Debug room? Huh? I never knew if there was such a thing in this game as I never found one.

  • @ulillillia I think he's just messing with you. Nothing about it on Google, and there's no way somebody knows this game better than you do, haha

  • How does it feel being in a movie? :)

  • If you have so much fun exploring just one level, Skyrim should be paradise to you.

  • Ulillillia, I have only recently discovered you. Might I just say that you are the greatest living human being and I wish you eternal happiness.

As the greatest living human being, tell me if you think if this sounds like a funny idea for a parody: Murder on the Polar Express

  • AS I SIT ON THE PORCH OF MY SANITY

    DECIPHERING MESSAGES IN HAMBONES

  • >not watching this video every day until the end of time

    ISHYDDT

  • what is this?

  • lmao this man is a modern marvel

    a beautiful autism specimen

    a perfect storm

  • @shiretsu Lol, he has OCD, not Autism.

  • @beezaxe Uh. No bud, this is classic autism spectrum behavior.

  • @jeembomb Have you ever read anything on his website? He has an entire article that extensively catalogues all of his fears, past and present.

  • Geekbox!

  • Ulililillia, have you found out yet what the weird goo in your pants was?

  • you play this game like its got the best controls...amazing

  • I've played games with much worse controls. Control combinations are especially bad, such as having to press 2 buttons at once.

  • Your videos are the most calming things i've ever watched.

  • But I don't want to know any of this

  • Why? Just why?

  • I just spilled my spaghetti at 40 frames per second :(

  • Doc.....

    1:21

  • I seriously cannot believe this isn't like a Saturn game or something.

  • 1:40 Does... does he grunt every time he pauses the game?

  • This video gave me autism.

  • Love the commentary. Your voice rocks.

  • @kieferleejackson Bubsy is a Bobcat Bro.

  • @GREYIII Owned.

  • Do you have OCD?

  • @ultimatebman yes he does

  • @SirCanas If you really think SM64 has better graphics than Spyro then there's no point in continuing this argument.

  • My friends and I watch this video and laugh for hours.

  • @SirCanas Nintendo chose to use cartridges instead of discs and the graphics suffered among other things. Look at games like Tekken 3 on the playstation and say with a straight face that N64 has better graphics. /watch?v=bvqPmvlC0qo

  • That's Playstation? I would ave guessed Nintendo 64 but even that would have been generous.

  • Ulilillia sounds like Ray Liotta in Goodfellas. His voice is amazing for commentary. This video would be crap without his voice skills.

  • 500 hours on bubsey?! lmfao!!!!

  • You make it look more fluid and noone would understand the stiff controls. You are skill.Well done. And noce finds btw.

  • ulillillia i love you

  • I don't know why all your videos are so captivating, but I can't stop watching them. I think it's your attention to detail and focused narrative combined with your nonchalance. Bravo man I'm glad I refound your videos.

  • 1:41

  • You sound like droopy dog. Would you please do a dub?

  • Just wait till I develop Tristania3D in October...it shall have tons of secrets and TWELVE secret levels! I'll be extremely curious how many you will find. I can tell you all about it - it will be an adequate challenge for ya!

  • Thumbs up if ign's NVC podcast brought you here.

  • @rizkunisnator (I've never heard of NVC's podcast)...what kind of feature did they mention him in? noteworthy vloggers or something?

  • I love your voice, it's so soothing.

  • ulillillia, do you know why this video continues to get so many views, even still now all this time later?

  • I really don't know.

  • @ulillillia you sound different in this video, mind if I ask why that is?

  • @ulillillia

    ITS BECAUSE YOU ARE AUTISTIC

  • @ulillillia It's because your an aspie

  • @09delaneyr Ulillillia isn't an aspie, he said so himself. Doctors told him he has a rare, severe case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

  • @ulillillia A video game podcast named "The geekbox". In their latest episode, they mentioned your videos, and thats how i got here...incase ur curious

  • Which video(s) of mine did that podcast refer to? Where is this podcast (only answer if it's free as otherwise, I won't bother with it).

  • @ulillillia It is free, afaik. It's from here: geekbox.net/archives/2011/10/18/the-geekbox-episode-140

  • @ZeavoTown Basically, Ulilillia's voice is relaxing, his playing is interesting, but it's his passion and commitment to experimentation and exploration of a fringy and limiting digital frontier. The way he plays with something already so far outside the cult cannon of die-hard video gamers makes this game--and Ulililia himself--instantly the stuff of internet legend. I've watched this video countless times. It's soothing and never stops grabbing my attention.

  • I can get thrown up extreeeeemely high

  • So...Does this game have an objective?

  • Yes. Collecting rocket pieces and getting to the exit are the objectives.

  • dude this is awesome, you rock.

  • "There's another area in the level with a height of SA. Try to find it."

    No.

  • Im so disturbed.

  • You talk like a game show announcer talking to kindergartners

  • Bubsy 3D:

    A study in OCD.

  • Why did I watch this?

  • Why did the music change when you were showing us secret #3 (when you went up to the highest point in the game)?

  • what made you play this for that long? just wondering, since i love games you can play forever and I might want to try this one

  • Levels 1 and 2 are really the only things - that's more than 90% of the total play time right there. This is because it's possible to climb around on the hills. Bubsy 3D also has several bugs to find. It's not a game meant for game play and it's terrible for graphics (making the NES look proud). There are 2 areas that I have yet to figure out how to reach. One of which is the central area in level 1. The other is where the woolie statue is in level 2.

  • @ulillillia

you said "making the nes look proud" in the video. you literally said the same exact thing in the comment.

    weird bro

  • He sounds like Mark E. Smith

  • This guy sounds like Bob Dylan.

  • 7000 units I think you make up measurements to make yourself seem smart

  • Do you understand how the game's coordinate system works? It uses a 32-bit system (the letters A to Z and the digits 1 to 6). The 7000 case is actually a calculated estimate with a 15% margin of error for my standard 95% certainty (that is, it's something from 6000 to 8000). Bubsy falls at 17 units per frame and a 7-second fall means 17*60*7 or 7140. How do I know it's 17 units per frame? Jump and fall onto a checkerboard pattern and repeat, taking note of the height at various times.

  • @ulillillia Your awesome

  • Comment removed

  • @ulillillia

    right on

  • @ulillillia MOTHER OF GOD

  • @Notagayusername10 NEVER underestimate the extent of The Big U's obsessive compulsive disorder. He is not well in the head.

  • he died

  • I find his voice oddly soothing.

  • Ulillililllilililia, how does the coordinate system in this game work? I don't know if you answered this already (or if you check the comments on these old videos), so if you did I'm sorry! Thanks for all the entertaining videos as usual :)

  • Sorting through 700+ comments to find the answer is unreasonable so.... The format is XABBCCDDEE. X is always X (X marks the spot). A is the level ID. Strangely, there is no "B", hinting to an omitted level. BB is the X position (west to east, with a 32x offset). CC is the Y axis (height (down to up), with a 1x offset). DD is the Z axis (south to north, with a 32x offset). EE is the direction (I don't remember this, but I think AA is east, EA is north, IA and YA west, and 3A south.).

  • I just bought this game because of you.

  • What's so incredible about Bubsy 3D is that it 100% reads "VIDEO GAME" visually.

The quirky colors, the choppy animations, the illogical geometry of the environments, and the nonsensical characters.

In a movie you could always show this to signify someone playing the Vidya. :)

  • How do I spell your name?

  • DO THE SKIT

  • ulillillia should be your pen name

  • Why would you subject yourself to this game for 500 hours?

  • 2V: That's the highest you can get.

  • he sounds like an autistic kid who has been trapped in a government facility deep underground with no external stimulation except bubsy 3d.

  • I CAN'T HOLD IT BACK ANYMORE. ULILLILLIA, WHY? WHY CAN'T YOU ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS?

YOU'RE SO FASCINATING. YOU'RE AMAZING, REALLY. HOW DO YOU WORK? DOES ANYONE KNOW? I MUST KNOW. ULILLILLIA REALLY IS AN AMAZING PERSON.

    I'M GOING TO GO INSANE.

  • @XXXMASTERISEXXX This is what you consider amazing?

  • @PowerbootW00T Indeed.

  • Any tips on how to find "SA"?

  • Find a checkerboard pattern on the ground with platforms and a warp portal above it. You'll need to make a few tricky jumps though to get there....

  • Was Bubsy ever good?

  • His very first game was good, "Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind". I have about 3700 (the actual value ranges from 3000 to as much as 4400) total hours logged on the Genesis version of that game and about 100 or so more on the SNES version (80 to 120 being the range).

  • Man, this video is fogged up.

  • ulillillia do you have autism?

  • @neverhoodyn He's not going to answer that. I honestly don't know why.

Ulillillia, why do you NEVER answer this question? So many people ask it. You have shown that you are fully-capable of answering users' questions. If you don't want to answer that specific question, simply reply saying you don't want to.

  • Gonna have to agree with the people who are telling you to get Minecraft. You'd love it.

  • This game makes me dizzy. So many colors and woooah..

  • you sound like droopy :P

  • this is amazing. The commentary made my day. Good work!

  • Bro get Minecraft.

  • wow. that looks like so much fun.

  • Are you reading the freaking PASSWORDS? Oh... my... god... I am... stupified. You know that most people have trouble even writing those down without complaining? Considering how long they are? You're awesome, dude!

  • I'll subscribe to your videos, uvula- er... "ulillillia" because they interest me. (Your name is hard to type without having to squint and spell check. Is there anything else I can call you? You don't want to be called "uvula" do you? I didn't think so! haha!) I don't have good math abilities but I'm skilled in other ways.

  • Don't worry about the spelling. The stranger the spelling (I've seen it with 20 characters and a random mix of the l's and i's), the better as I find it funnier.

  • Multiplayer?

    I meant 3D, lol

  • This game just wasn't ready for Multiplayer

  • Wow... I have Aspergers and even I'm not that sharp... What's wrong with me? I could use some of this guy's smarts. When it comes to algebra, even if you ask me the simplest problem, I'll never come up with the answer!

  • Oh, so you're saying that you'll never come up with the answer for something as simple as x+2=7? That's the kind of stuff first graders work with, when studying addition tables (only, a symbol is used for the variable instead of a letter)!

  • @ulillillia

Well, that's easy, that one's common sense. (the answer is five) But I'm talking about high school algebra. I wasn't very clear. I'm in my junior year, and the only reason I got by my "freshy" (freshman year) is because my sister helped me with my homework. The only reason I got past geometry is because the teacher was SUPER nice, an I'm currently in algebraic connections right now, but in my senior year, I'm pretty much screwed! (I've got algebra 2 scheduled next year.)

  • nothing short of impressive as usual, ulilllia

  • my brain died....

  • This is a joke, right?

  • @nirvanadude007 Nope.

  • I've watching this video at least three times in the past month. Who is supposed to have autism again?

  • That was pretty impressive.

  • You, sir, need to try Minecraft. I can see from your style of play that you would truly enjoy it.

  • Someone needs to stop playing video games.

  • I keep comming back to watct this... I've come to believe Ulillillia possibly has the most enchanting voice I've ever heard. He makes one of the worst games of all time entertaining.

  • @Pentdad

I use the audio from this video to help me sleep... more nights than not.

  • I hope you have a girlfriend, really.

I mean, I don't have one but man...

  • Hello ulillillia. As a fellow sufferer of OCD I was wondering if you take any medications to combat it. Great videos.

  • How old are you.

  • You ever thought about being a QA tester Ulillillia? You'd be the greatest one of all time because of your bug finding skills.

  • I once had a similar dream as a child, but this dream has since vanished as there are so few games of interest nowadays. Not only do the consoles cost a lot (which is why I don't have any of the current generation systems and likely won't have any until another year or 2 down the road), but the lack of games of interest makes them not worth the high cost. Only listening to video game music and the dream of making my own game (Platform Masters is my current project) has survived in tact.

  • @ulillillia

It's available on computers, but it doesn't take a lot of resources to run.

It's developed by an independent studio, so it isn't rated, but it is definitely E to E10.

You walk around a procedurally generated world, fight little monsters and animals, chop down trees, mine, and build stuff. It's really fun.

Search "The Slide - Minecraft" for a video of some of the awesome stuff you can do.

  • @ulillillia have you played minecraft?

  • oh god you need to play minecraft

  • you need minecraft

  • are you for real? are you amish or something?

  • Has anyone told you you sound exactly like Bob Weir

  • @SuperCunt5000 I thought he sounded like Ray Liotta, especially in Goodfellas.

  • I only play teen and everyone rated games for kids and autistic people such as myself.

  • God, you would make some fantastic audiobooks, Ulillillia.

  • love the game.

    love the video.

    good job

  • I will BUY you minecraft, just so I can see what will do with it

  • Go try out Minecraft, man.

  • Jesus Christ, just watching this for 5 minutes made me feel sick.

How can you possible take this for 500 hours???

  • Hey, why don't you play m-rated games? Just wondering.

  • Autism at it's finest.

  • @MegaWattzMan Lmao! Good one :)
