  • Playing a little bit of Robben Ford?

  • OK folks. I see you one of this guy, and raise you this kid. Search on this phrase:

"Goodie Sqeegee Song"- Dave Martone contest

  • That is an awesome clean sound. What anp was it played on?

  • That first lick in the 2nd take was so a sean costello lick

  • Is this fuck head from a prison release program and making an effort to show he can do something to get out on good behavior????? he fuckin sucks.

  • none of his notes or chords are in tune, this is just ridculous...aand painfull

  • Wow!! What's with all the negative comments? A guy posting a NGD video and he gets slammed with negative comments. Who gives a F&^K if he can play or not......is it because he's got a nice guitar that you can't have? Jeeze...

  • @gmlasam image is good, but the soundtakeitself doesn't sound like reality!!!

  • Wish I could Find this guy... MURDER HIM with an Ice Pick, Then Steal this guitar and Play it the way it was meant to be played... IN TUNE!!!!

  • gimme that thing junior! Ill play it like its bleeding outta me!!

  • I do not know who is saying this guitar is out of tune ..I think they need to check their ears !!!...cool player ...great guitar ...

  • @gregorylee888 ok I'll have my ears checked.... out of tune and badly played...

  • @gregorylee888 cool player, cool guitar, no sound nd out of tune

  • 良い音には良い演奏が必要や~

    うっとりするトーンです!

  • rahhh so nice sound and so out of tune this is horrible

  • lol he cant play guitar AND its out of tune.

  • as soon as i clicked on this post i could hear that you are waaay out of tune.

just thought i would add that.however,i played one of these models and it is truly a great axe!

  • TUNE THAT FUCKIN THING

  • @Campermanist Ya, I dont have to. You a fan, thats great, I am too. The difference between us is that Im not being biased because Im a fan.

  • @PBANDSNOW I don't think you know bloomfield. True, he isn't a pop-icon with all the fame and such and a so called "figurehead" . And almost nobody copied his style because that's just impossible. His phrasing is so different and hard to follow. If you're gonna tag a price on the rate of importance on Bloomfields playing, it wouldn't be payable. I personally think all that gibson crap isnt worth the price, because in the old days the were relatively cheaper

  • @Campermanist No, I know a lot. He was never a figurehead of white blues.

  • Only a guitarist who is a figure head of their genre should get a signature guitar. Bloomfield is, in many peoples minds, a white blues god, but he wasn’t important enough to have a $10,000 signature model.

  • That's one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen in my whole life. ;o

  • not a bad rendition of "revelation" ...

  • i'm not going to say that i can play better than him, but i can tune better than him for sure.

  • i like the Clapton/Beanno model much better for that kinda cake. this particular finish isn't that impressive as compared to others i've seen that are breathtaking..

  • Anyway, I have seen few videos made by this guy and I cam to this conclusion:

the man has a terrific talent in making every guitar he tries sound like SHIT......

    My advice:

    1) STOP reviewing guitars and do something else instead in the shop.

    2) GET FIRED PLEASE....

  • @Mamertum345 Just what I was thinking, as in please tune the guitar, and give it to anyone else, it deserves it.

  • As much as I love guitars, I don't think any guitar is worth 10k. You right.

  • You couldn't get it tune first?

  • I would have bent some notes into next week on that tone monster!!

  • Nice clean tone out of the neck pickup. What amp did you use on this video?

  • This guy needs to learn a lot about guitars:

    1) How to tune one.

    2) How to play one.

    3) ESPECIALLY how to pick. His making his picking hand look like he's fucking afraid of the guitar or something.

  • @TheChondriac he look so afraid because he was played the 1959 gibson les paul!!!

  • Ok. Now tune that guitar !!

  • Make it stop somebody make it stop ... sad face

  • That doesn't sound like a les Paul to me. It doesn't have enough balls the be one. It almost sounds like you are playing through a line 6 or something of that nature.

  • @theguysingreenville i agree, you need to have a good tube amp to play one of these. not one of those shitty electronic amps.

  • Very nice laid-back playing style - thankyou for posting!

Looks like you've got a Rickenbacker 4000 in the background there too! Tasteful gear!

  • Vintage Guitars in the UK make a great peter Green LP

  • Dude, this guy picks very carelessly.

  • Interesting. At 0:12, you can see the Gibsun logo, is this a fake?

  • @migliashiite I dont think its fake man The Gibson logo is like that even today.I may be wrong though....

  • It would sound better if you play strat for your style.

  • get some new tunage

  • tune. that. shit. now. and e.q. better.

  • out of tune

  • too much 'pick noise' in yer' presentation....plus, the tune didn't sound Les Paulish....but it's probably a nice guitar though

  • all of a sudden...everyone is a fucking guitar god/critic/tune this guitar or i will cry...bunch of cry fucking babies .....the guy's sharing it to us.....so shut the fuck up assholes!!!!

  • nice guitar, tune it!

  • This guitarist sucks, what a shitty player.

  • @tothatextent i agree and what a wicked looking guitar man i wish i owned one

  • Tuning the fucker might be an option...

  • @DoctorSpinola I agree, nothing worse than a guitar out of tune !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @toomanylespauls yeah that thing sounded pretty out of tune

  • Nothing amazing about this guitar. To be honest it's just a shitty version of the "59 reissue that looks worse and has a ridiculous price tag.

  • Wait a minute. I thought if you bought a real expensive guitar, you would be able to

play so much better. Equipment is where it's at, no?

You still have to practice and be in tune?

I know kids that play better on a Squire and have more tone and style. Sorry.

  • its perfect

  • totall crap..maybe worth 1000 dollars..i am a pro in NYC...and we laugh at this guitar!!

  • @konshess Hey, I laugh at most new Gibsons. They cant get the wood any more, and the wood they do get they screw up with their microwave drying process. These guitars are waaaaaay overpriced.

  • @tramoliter I totally agree I have a 50s Terry Mcinturff that was about 4500 and NEV ER goes outta tune and sounds incredible..Gibson Les Pauls cant keep tune and are the worst value in guitar...at least Fenders..which SUCK ass also..stay in tune....I think this guitar is like 7 grand or something nuts..

  • Tune the guitar before you make videos, please.

  • This is a nice guitar to have if your a multi millionaire

  • @Immaculate416 There is no way that that guitar is worth $10,000. Things are way out of hand. I played one, and it does play like a dream, but $10,000? No thanks.

  • nice revelation

  • クロサワ楽器ですかww

  • @1maou2 i agree with you

  • The damage behind the stop bar came from Michael digging string balls out of the stop piece with a screw driver. He played Fender Bullets...

  • The knobs. Michael put that speed knob on the tone control because he spun it alot. The other knob -- the metal-top - - was added at the same time the guitar was repaired.

  • San Francisco luthier Minor Wilson repaired the guitar, including the binding and the trussrod cover at his shop on Brady Street. At the time, the headstock was held on with a radiator hose clamp. I played that guitar a couple of times.

  • I love that neck pick up bite! ..peter green esque

  • i would like to see a cover of Albert's Shuffle

  • I remember seeing a picture of Bloomfields guitar in an old magazine interview. There was a large section of the binding missing on one side of the fingerboard. Where did they get the 'model' for this one?? Didn't know it still existed. Cool guitar though.

  • No one knows where the original guitar is.Gibson used forensic technology to design the guitar.Thats one of the reasons it's so expensive.

  • @tatsandteles According to numerous sources including Gibson, the company used hundreds of photographs, provided mostly by his brother, of Mike Bloomfield playing that guitar to get the match just right---both in the actual Bloomfield reproduction, with the tailpiece crack/gash, and in this VOS version.

  • why do you have different knobs ?

is that the normal configuration ?

  • They used different knobs because thats the way Mike had his Les Paul set up.

  • that thing isn't worth 10,000.

  • @shakemyballs123

    No guitar is.

  • @shakemyballs123

Too right. It's in the hands anyway. I've seen a Tokai Paul copy that looks as good as that. With some new pups it could sound as good for a grand or less.

  • @shakemyballs123

    Probably made in China.

  • @shakemyballs123 yeah none of the signature models are worth more than any other les paul but gibson wants to make them expensive so they do...and its bullshit

  • @shakemyballs123

    about 6000€ :)

  • @shakemyballs123 it is buddy, but this guy plays her like a bloody beginner.....especially the chords.

that's not how to play a REAL Les Paul like her;-)

  • @shakemyballs123 No new guitar is :)

  • Im obviously biased but they need to make a peter green model

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood They need to make a Jorma Kaukonen ES 345 model.

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood I totally agree. I would sell my own Grandmother to get one of them.

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood fuck yes they do

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood , bit late in replying but check out either 'C V Guitars' or 'Melvyn Franks' Gibson

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood they did! but they unfoutantly naned it the melvyn franks guitar (the current owner). i acually got to play one and it was gold!

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood well vintage made a good version of of the peter green les paul

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood They need to make a Paul Kossoff model as well :)

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood

They do, it's the Melvyn Franks model. Greeny isn't part of the endorsement because of his criminal record or so I am told. It could simply be that he didn't allow it, but either way, look the guitar up, it's pretty sick.

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood bloomfield could blow away peter green any day of the week. and thats not really an insult to peter green.

  • @GreenyMcFleetwood I though they already have... But yes, they need to make a lot of signature guitars.

  • my epiphone is very similar :)

  • The guitar is sweet, but why is the sound so trashy?

  • What amp did you use on this video?

  • is it just me or is the burst unevenly dark around the toggle switch?

  • it's meant to be. it's a recreation of mike bloomfield's burst.

  • ok, just didn't know that his looked like that, thanks

  • what finish is this??

    good playing by the way

  • its a recreation of mike bloomfield's burst, so the colour is custom

  • she's a babe!

  • Their über expensive :/ ..... 200 Made

  • I wonder if Gibson is gonna do a Eric Clapton modell. They already have the Slash, Jimmy Page and Mike Bloomfield. Of course its a little hard to find the exact specifications because his original was stolen. But it would be nice if they did one.

  • I doubt that would happen. Fender already has a Clapton sig.

  • So ?

Jeff Beck has a strat signature too and gibson made Oxblood for him so why not

  • Good point. I still don't see it happening in the near future though.

  • First of all, i think he has a contract with Fender, second of all in an interview, Eric said that he had a Les Paul at home, that was nearly the same model as the one that was been stolen, third of all he already has a signature Gibson. His ES-335 from 1963! (Red)

  • Actually it wasn't stolen.. He left it in east europe :D He wrote that in his biography

  • @filerocktheworld He actually left it in Canada; subsequent biographers have confirmed it. A club owner kept it as compensation when he had to cancel a stand prematurely. Whoever ownes that guitar now, assuming it still exists, may or may not know what a valuable instrument he/she actually has . ..

  • Nice sound, but over priced in my opinion.

  • wow! They're £6,999 where I live... :(

  • what is the song he's playing??

  • He is playing Revelation by Robben Ford, originally a Yellowjackets song

  • "Revelation" written by Russell Ferrante (sp?) and performed by Robben Ford

  • i thought all the bloomfields had the damaged finish behind the stop bar???

  • no they have 2 different finishes

the damaged look (about $14 000)

    and the V.O.S. finish (about $10 000)

  • it only $5,999 at alto music for the v.o.s. finish!

  • lol only?

    Jy's mos poes ryk bra!

  • Beauuutifull guitar! Nice burst color
