I just couldn't really enjoy their show when I saw them because of the ridiculous amount of effects and reverb, the lyrics may as well be gibberish because you can't hear anything :D

I don't understand the Brian Wilson/Beach Boys comparisons...I love AC and Panda, but Panda's voice sounds nothing like Brian's, and Brian Wilson's music is very different (and I would argue more mature). Plus, the production/mixing on Beach Boys records is top notch. This, not so much. Still love Panda, but he's no Beach Boy.

I'm not even sure what elements of the Beach Boys people hear in Panda/AC's music...close vocal harmony? That can be found elsewhere. His voice? Doesn't sound like Brian Wilson's. Use of unconventional instruments in pop music? That's not unique to his/their music, either.
