  • I think this is a great building project for my tribe. I hope it does the opposite of what it was intended to do, bring back our culture and teach people our traditions, especially to the youth.

  • I feel like the U.S. government ignores what has happened here. It has taken us years to get to where we are today, I am glad we are doing something with that building and turning it into something positive for our community.

  • When someone wrongs someone else, an apology is not "the 1st step", it's more like the last step. An apology---before ceasing, desisting, making the victim whole again, promising to be good to the victim in the future, & giving the victim a factual, rational basis to believe that the wrong-doing is over---is insincere & meaningless at best. And, in U.S. government--Native relations, at worst, it could be just the latest trick & cover up tactic! Have ANY of the above conditions been achieved?

  • yeah i agree bc money cant bring back the innocent of a child's death or nor my native land and blood card degree denies and separates us further and fbi agents still harass us and the rez is the same camp that the jews had and the israelites faced in egypt the same poverty camps..we know true freedom and we know the false illusion of freedom by colonizers of this society as long as we know the difference we will still fight this oppression...wado
