I saw this at the International Film Festival in Boston and loved it. I especially loved the Q&A.. it was very enlightening. WOnderful job and I am moved by your vision!
It will be good to see how you go from bouncing all over the world in your first doc to sticking to one continent this time and hopefully giving us a perspective of Africa that is one most people are, such as myself, ignorant of.
I just got home from my round-the-world trip last week, which included Africa. I loved AMFS and it was a huge inspiration for me, so I'm especially excited for this. Definitely gonna check it out at a festival if I can.
I was so moved by A Map for Saturday, that I would buy whatever you made next. Lucky for me that it looks pretty good. ps. I bought 10 copies of AMFS and am giving them as my primary Christmas gift this year.
My daughter is a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal and she has lived there for almost 2 years. I visited for 2 weeks. Many of those scenes look very familiar. Can't wait for the movie.
Does anyone know whether this has been screened in the UK?

This was a very compelling and even-handed documentary. Something you don't see everyday about Africa. Saw this at the Cleveland film festival.
