As much as I love Gorefest I have to admit the 'Erase' album is not such a good album...uneven is the word here I guess. At least half of the songs on it are not worthy of calling them not only death metal but good music in general. And that 'groovy death metal' trend of the mid-90s, so appalling! This is one of the stand-out tracks though, so thumbs up here :)

@RedmanRedmanRedman Atheist, Cannibal Corpse, Cynic, Blotted Science, Cryptopsy (Yeah, I know they're Grind), Gojira, Gorguts, Kraanium, Massacre, Master, Morbid Angel, Nevermore, OBITUARY, Six Feet Under, Suffocation (from 2004 to present).

All of these Death Metal bands tend to keep their bass pretty audible, or even ontop. Check 'em out.

what happend was a friend of mine gave me a tape to listen to back in 96, but she never said who it was. I always loved what I listening to and never forgot it. Then one day I tried again to find it, all I had to go off was the word "arise" from the 1st song which was a massive long shot so i just put that into a lyric search web page.....and some how thinking of how the tune went from what I could remember i managed to recognize it lol Mega chuffed!
