Hello, I am a Korean male. After reading a news article about the 'dying' of the Manchurian language, I became interested in Manchurian history and decided to a research and came across this video. Going through the comments section, reading here and there, I couldn't help but notice hatred towards Koreans and assertions that Koreans are distorting history and that we have stolen Manchurian heritage. I'm not very familiar with topic so can anyone kindly enlighten me on this matter? Thanks.

I never EVER want to visit China. It's likely I would get an infectious disease or asthma just hanging around in the city. I much prefer teaching in South Korea.at least I never experienced a 9 DAY traffic jam over there. China's just way too overpopulated. Still, learning some simple hygiene rules and etiquette would go a long way to change some foreigners perspective of China.

There are still villages in where used to be call Manchuria (manzhou) where people still speak the Manchu tongue. Too bad there's less than 40 elders that still use the language =( I wish I had a chance to learn it in kindergarden when I still lived in Manchuria.

Right now I'm living in Chicago =) I think I look Northern Asian there's actually a big variation between looks in Manchus even in one family. For example, my grandma is short but has a very northern Asian face where as her brothers are all over 6 feet tall and have more pointed features. I think maybe it's because Manchus used to be many nomadic tribes around Northern Asian and Southern Siberia so there's some genetic diversity. =) or many I'm just being a nerd

Nobody is restricting Manchus (Manchurian) culture, it's customs still flourish in North East I think .It is only the Manchus themselves to keep it or not. Of course it is not much use to embrace something which is dying out or not adaptable to current lives. Manchus have to study their culture deep enough to make a culture evolution adaptable to modern life. Just like what the Japanese is good at e.g. the Tang culture in Osaka.

Another lie by the Koreans, unlike the French and Russian revolutions, not body in the Qing court and Qing nobles were executed in 1911. Puyi the last emperor of Qing was allowed to stay in the Forbidden City in Peking for 10 more years. The new republic paid the expenses of the Emperor. The Qing Emperor signed an agreement with the new provisional republic for the transferral of sovereignty and administration of Chinese territories . It was a peaceful changeover of government .

The Manchurian AND Mongolian script is derived from the Xiong Nu script. Old Uigurs used the Xiong Nu script as well subsequentially modifying it as well. There are nuance differential pronunciation marks for the Manchurian script with grammatical denotations.

我觉得自治区制度就是矛盾，要是真民族平等，就不需要这些名不副实的自治地了。再说到满族，辉煌只是过去，现在只是中国那么多人口的百分之一，那么多民族中的1个，只是中国人中的一小部分。还是要服从全中国不是，也没必要自诩东北都是满族的，还有别的民族怎么办，中国的土地！至于非要设个自治地，根据以上是没有必要的，更何况满族早已经遍布中国了。

I applaud your efforts to keep alive Manchurian heritage and culture. There are many individuals who are engaging in denigrating & insulting Manchurians. They have a divide Manchurian strategy.
