VIVA FILIPINAS!
Sana marunong lahat ng Pilipino magsalita ng Spanish.
Saludos and thank you, From Philippines.
Nice! please visit the video "De Muertos en Manila" and vote in the link I hope you like it...I entered a short film contest for Mexican expats in which I documented my first impressions about moving to Manila…
I made it up to the judged finals and is now shortlisted for to win the competition… However this second stage of the contest is done by general vote…
So we need your support for the short film… and as per the rules of the contest it was shot with my cellphone… Thank you!
@philippinerock20 No... the original Spanish version of the Philippine anthem was entitled Patria Adorada and not Filipinas. Spanish was still the official language of the country even during the first Philippine Republic of Pres. Emilio Aguinaldo. It was only translated into Tagalog during Pres. Manuel Quezon's time of Filipinization.
@pilipinoheart Our National Anthem was originally composed in Spanish. I think that's what he was referring to not the Mexico National Anthem. Lupang Hinirang was originally composed and sung to Spanish before it was translated to tagalog.
