@YoSoyZuri : Sorry, it's not true. The tournament is named "Trofeo Conde de Godó" in honor of Carlos Godó Valls, the second Count of Godó, who was the president of Real Club de Tenis Barcelona and the founder of the tournament in 1953. ;)
@YoSoyZuri but they call it "Conde de Godo" on all official websites ... if you pay close attention you can also read "59 Trofeo Conde de Godo" on my ticket with Rafa's autograph at the end of the clip ...

You can see for yourself .... "conde"=(count) + "Godo"=(Goth) - where would you put "de"=(of)? It's not grammatically correct to say Goth of Count, is it?

The trophy is call "Conde Godo" (without "de" ) which means the "Goth Count".
