  • I think i'd rather listen to Dostoevsky with an electric guitar than listen to these intellectual light weights; expounding the importance of whether Gordon was really into The Artic Monkey's or Blair was a rock 'n' roller. These cretins are a parody of themselves an animated Biff cartoon come to life. No wonder 'culture' is in the toilet. These cultural garbage men really have taken over the asylum.

  • What a bunch of cultural parasites. Pop and pop culture is and always has been consumer capitalism's dream factory & the consumer just "Can't Get No, Satisfaction". For a short period between the mid 50's & the late 70's pop/rock/art/new radicalism was at centre of culture,it was an international movement. We naively thought it could it could transform the world. We were disabused of that & how!! Now we have these ill educated buffons bloodsucking the entrails of a dead popular culture

  • Made it to 40 seconds... Jesus, titty fu**ing christ.

  • Gordon Brown never claimed to listen to the Arctic Monkeys. He was asked what he thought of the Arctic Monkeys and replied that they would certainly wake you up in the morning. This was misreported as Gordon Brown listens to the Arctic Monkeys.

What they say about Brown needing to be himself is true. Whenever I see Brown smile on TV it doesn't look genuine. I don't care whether a politician doesnt smile much.
