I have got a Taurus Tracker .41 mag. I bet you would love that gun. It has more "mmmfff" to it than a .357 and even a .44 special. it can hang with the big dogs anyday. I love the "ribber" rubber grips on it... When I will get another handgun, I think I need to look for a Taurus first.

I had a girl friend from Texas and she hated hunting as well. She was upset when I was cleaning up a deer one day. In north Minnesota we learn stuff like that young. It's a misconception that all southern people know the ways of hunting and butchering.
BTW 18 gauge is a narrow railway gauge not a shotgun gauge. Someone is pulling a joke on you. You must mean a 16 gauge. That's a nice midsized round.

All gun laws are BS and they don't stop the criminal from getting what they want, when was the last felon who went into a gun store to buy a gun? There is a deeper agenda and crime is an excuse. A government who is for and by the people won't fear the guns of the people! Crime goes up when they ban guns. They want to take our guns but if that happens shit will hit the fan!

I was being a little facetious(a smart-ass), meaning do we have the right to go to Iran and destroy the Nukes that they are making, but they don't have the 2nd Amendment over there, so that means we do.
We do not let felons or unstable people keep guns. In the same vein we should not let unstable Kim Jong Il (confirmed to be suffering from neuro-syphilis in 2008) or Iran (unstable criminal theocracy), have nukes. I hope that clears up the issue.

It's videos like this that make me feel rather despondent at living in the UK. You wouldn't believe the hoops we have to jump through in order to get just a .22LR! Handguns are banned, as are self-loading centerfire rifles, and after they banned them (in 1997), gun crime figures went up and up, and still are. But, I am taking my 12g out to our local range on Sunday, so I'll be happy with that :).
Good work with the videos, it's nice to see how things are in a more liberal society.
ps. We both share the same view on hunting too :), I'm not opposed to it at all, it's just not something that I ever felt the desire to try.

Don't lean back when you are shooting handguns. Lean forward a bit, put more weight on the balls of your feet instead of the heels, roll your shoulders forward. Leaning back gives handgun an advantage when trying to handle the recoil and flip of the firearm..

That's a funny story. He tells everyone he got me from Walmart LOL! And actually it's true! He rescued me form the parking lot of Walmart. A guy I went out with that night made me push his POS broke down car around the parking lot trying to crank it lol! I knew Robbie and he was there. you should try the True and Tested M1911-A1 in 45ACP. That is a great pistol to shot and the power is awsome. Great job with the videos keep up the great work!
Do you dislike the single action revolver design, or the kick and blast of the .44 Mag? If it's the kick and blast, try a regular Blackhawk or Vaquero in .45 Long Colt. It fires a bigger bullet than a .44 Magnum, but at lower velocity. They are sweet shooters; milder than a .357 but with similar stopping power because of the heavy bullet.
Did the one you shot have the square trigger guard? Those tend to thump your knuckle. But all other Blackhawks and Vaqueros (the fixed-sight version) have a standard round trigger guard, as do some versions of the .44 Mag. Blackhawk. Also, the newest version of the Vaquero has a smaller frame, like the original Colt Single Action Army. They make the new smaller pattern in .45 Long Colt, too. I think you should check one out if you get a chance.
Yeah, it was designed for looks. It was a copy of the early Colt Dragoon black powder revolvers from the 1840s. That was OK on those things because they didn't kick much, but it was a bad idea on a .44 Magnum.

I think you will actually find that gun crime is alot lower in GB than in the US.
Guns are just too easy to get hold of there. I don't think its right but I am open to other peoples opinions

No I made him sell it a few months after we got together lol. I'm kidding. I didn't make him sell it. He sold it shorty after we got together on his own. He really regrets ever selling it. The guy he sold it to wrapped it around a telephone pole at about 80 MPH SIDEWAYS! Turned that beautiful car into a banana!

I'm lovin the videos, They give me my gun fix that i can't get over here in the UK, Theres a minium 5 year prision sentance for havin a gun but I'm off to the states on saturday to play with guns. I own a Ruger 45acp that my friend has been looking after for me for the last 10 years. Its been that long since i was last there! Hope its not been missing me too much... lol

I like my Ruger Vaquero in .45 lc way more than my automatics. There is just a totally different feel to shooting a 6 gun.

Don't lean back when you are shooting handguns. Lean forward a bit, put more weight on the balls of your feet instead of the heels, roll your shoulders forward. Leaning back gives handgun an advantage when trying to handle the recoil and flip of the firearm..

That's a funny story. He tells everyone he got me from Walmart LOL! And actually it's true! He rescued me form the parking lot of Walmart. A guy I went out with that night made me push his POS broke down car around the parking lot trying to crank it lol! I knew Robbie and he was there. He called Jeff and asked him to give me a ride home. He picked me up in his 1970 Chevelle SS! The rest is history!

I'm with you Heather. I love guns, but I'm not into hunting. I come from a family of hunters too. My uncle just looks at me and shakes his head. He says "you ain't no kin of mine". I just laugh! I love to get out in the woods. I love to shoot, but I just can't kill an animal for the sport of it.

I like that smith and wesson you got. and I totally agree with you on the gun control thing. I believe more people would die withOUT guns because they wouldnt be able to defend themselves. so when a guy comes breakin into my house with a gun Ill be like get out of my house and hell be like BANG and Im dead. with a gun I can be like dont try anything or your dead. and the whole thing isn't gonna go through anyway.

I recommend the Heckler & Koch P8, or as it is called outside of the German Army: USP
It comes in .357 SIG and also .45A CP, so it provides a lot of stopping-power ;)

Do you dislike the single action revolver design, or the kick and blast of the .44 Mag? If it's the kick and blast, try a regular Blackhawk or Vaquero in .45 Long Colt. It fires a bigger bullet than a .44 Magnum, but at lower velocity. They are sweet shooters; milder than a .357 but with similar stopping power because of the heavy bullet.

I've shot other .44's and like them. The recoil is not a big deal. It's the trigger gaurd design of the blackhawk I don't like.

Did the one you shot have the square trigger guard? Those tend to thump your knuckle. But all other Blackhawks and Vaqueros (the fixed-sight version) have a standard round trigger guard, as do some versions of the .44 Mag. Blackhawk. Also, the newest version of the Vaquero has a smaller frame, like the original Colt Single Action Army. They make the new smaller pattern in .45 Long Colt, too. I think you should check one out if you get a chance.

Yea it was the one with the square trigger guard. It cut my knuckles up. That's the dumbest design I've ever seen on a handgun.

Yeah, it was designed for looks. It was a copy of the early Colt Dragoon black powder revolvers from the 1840s. That was OK on those things because they didn't kick much, but it was a bad idea on a .44 Magnum.
