  • Here's the lyrics:

Oooh get her! Whoops! I've got your number ducky. You couldn't afford me, dear. Two three.

     I'd scratch your eyes out.

Don't come the brigadier bit with us, dear, We all know where you've been, you military fairy!

Whoops, don't look now girls, The major's just minced in With that dolly colour sergeant, Two, three, ooh-ho!

  • The squad are referred to in one of the Monty Python books, either the 'Big Red Book' [The one with the blue cover], or 'The Brand New Monty Python Bok' [Remove the dust jacket, and the title is: 'Tits and Bums, a study of church architecture'], as The Gay Gordons. You just knew that's what they'd be called.

  • @brianartillery ahahhahahahha BRILLIANT ! thanku ...i always wondered actuallly ....love the gay gordens .....band leader ;p xxXxx

  • Not to mention them IDF bitches darling.

  • I think I've jut raped my replay button...

  • @jondemusiq ahahhhahhahhhahahhahaahhahhahahhhahahahahha !!!!!! xXx

  • @missbabylemonade Classic,was funny

  • Damn, who knew getting rid of Don't Ask Don't Tell could have a such huge effect...

  • here we salute the brave men who fought and died to keep China British!

  • Wooo hahaha, "silly and a bit suspect." I forgot all about this bit, thanks for posting it.

  • They did a pretty good job, but they messed up around 0:18. Anyone who's been in the military knows you always start your kick line with the left leg first.

  • 21 people want to ride John McCain.

  • Superb.

  • you know...you know what i just noticed? chapman with a 'stache looks like a blonde Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart!

  • Here here MrFooknuts! 2 of my 3 submissives are US army and I couldn't be more proud of them and I respect all military men (and women). But this clip made me laugh so hard, I cried. My army boys loved it too!

  • There are an awful lot of spastics argueing about politics on the comments page of a COMEDY video. I've served in the British Army, and I have been embedded in a USMC artillery company in Afghanistan whilst handing over an area of operations in Helmand, we didn't argue or compare penis size, we mostly told jokes and laughed. The only people who boast about their own nations or ridicule another's military are those who've never served a day and their own acomplishments are inadequate.

  • british army is composed from pussies ! HAHAHA

  • @Sakeraljabha You know that statistically we have the best trained military in the world...

  • @BritishArmyPfc you lost in iraq ! AHAHAH

  • that how to intimidate a enemie

  • @CoolKillerClan Yeah, tell the enemy, "SURRENDER IMMEDIATELY!!! ..... Or we will force you to watch our Precision Drilling Squad!" All the actors did an excellent job, but Cleese needs to work on his "bent wrist" move.

  • Now - why are the words 'if you like it you then should have put a ring on it' coming to mind? >:|

Oh well - I like this version much better XD

  • 21 people are silly. And a bit suspect, I think.

  • British army? :L

  • Rick Perry's view of the military. :)

  • WHAT THE FUCK AM I WATCHING?

  • makes me proud to be an American.

  • @Obamination Ha, ok. I guess my point (while not clearly stated) was that the Americans weren't simply "defending their borders" as mynameistim100 claimed. The British had no interest in starting another war across the Atlantic.

  • @mynameistim100 not sure how you turned this brilliant piece of comedy into a debate about the war of 1812 but you best check your history books. The Americans were the aggressors, CROSSING their borders in an attempt to take British North America. The British, Canadians and Natives were defending their land during a war started by the Americans. The burning of DC was a retaliation for the burning of York (now Toronto). The British left DC VOLUNTARILY. The only reason it became a draw was becau

  • @iTASTEDheaven You might want to turn back one page in that history book you are reading. The British Navy was boarding US ship and "pressing" US citizen into the British Navy..

  • I showed this video in school once when we were learning about WWII, the teacher said i was making fun of gay people in the army and threatned me with a months detention. But everyone else backed me up (inlcuding the gay people) saying it was meant to be funny. Suffice to say I never saw that teacher again.

  • @SnakeMacTavish lol, Graham Chapman was gay anyway

  • I thought that Monty Python was British. Since when do they show Americans?

  • @suprhavkdogi Awwww dirty pool old boy >=) but I applaud your humor.

    yours truly,

    A fellow yank

  • fcesafvd

  • I don't want to like the video just because it's at 1337. Which seems accurate.

  • i guess thats the British military for you

  • What happens in the army, stays in the army..

  • @BaileysBeads

But imply to hell and back.

  • Pure genius.

  • LOL

  • I'd like to see the US Marine Corps perform this! :D

  • I'll SCRATCH YOUR EYES OUT!!

  • Squad! Camp it up!

  • Comment removed

  • @ImperialGlory1920 What the hell are you talking about??? This is Monty Python, it was made just for absurdity's sake!

  • The great irony of this being of course that Graham Chapman was the gay one.

  • @GuppyOdyssey

I knew it! He had a foster child!

  • Stop that! Silly!

  • @cornystyle ...and a bit suspect I think.

  • ARMY PRIDE!!!

  • The future is here!

  • this comedy is way better then charlie shean

  • after all this time i JUST noticed what the drill sergeant was actually yelling out in the beginning. "Camp It Up" indeed.

  • and this my friends, is why the the americans won the revoultion and 1812

  • @mynameistim100 they didn't win 1812, at most it was a draw. The only true losers were the native americans (weird since the native americans were the ones to keep the americans out of british north america)

  • @STMUN the way i see it, its still techincally a win. we didnt fall back under the british rule. however we didnt beat the british like a bad child. i agree it was a draw but if you inculde how we rose from the ashes and became a huge super power in the end. so thats why i consider it a win.

  • @mynameistim100 well then you aren't talking about just the war of 1812 but the entire time period from independence to WWII. Also britain had no interest in taking the US during that time, they were busy fighting France. The US saw it as an opportune moment since britain was busy and they were imposing on US ports since the US was trading with France. There goal was to take British North America, not defend their borders.

  • @STMUN it all matters man. your not gonna see anywar that didnt influence the loosers or victors way of life. as you said it was a draw. so niether side was really influenced. and we were defending our borders if you think bout it. white house got burned down. battle of new orleans. shit like that.

  • @Mrscubajb but the thing is America didnt become the worlds super power until about 1945 so that argument is not really valid, also it is being predicted that China will overtake America in almost all forms of power within the next 15-20 years bringing your total time as a superpower to at the most 75 years compared to most coutries in the past whose empires spanded hundreds or even thousands of years.

  • @Mrscubajb Who the heck cares? I'm glad to live in America, I don't want to live in China, because I'm not Chinese, I'm American. This is where I belong. I don't care how powerful we are, or how rich, or how long we've been a superpower. I'm just glad that I can say things like "Jesus loves you" and not get killed, and every season here is a memory in and of itself. It may not be the very best place to live in the world, but to me and lots of other people... it's home.

  • @thatwhichisgiven The Jesus bit aside, that was a great response. Thumbs up.

  • @jasonpshields Thanks :) The first part of your comment proved my point, too -- you may not agree with my personaly beliefs, but I'm still allowed to have them. America's awesome :)

  • This is so freaking funny

  • Fucking unexpected and HILARIOUS XD

  • twas brillig! Good bluss da Moonty!

  • A 10-second joke, if that, elongated into an eternity (or so it felt).

  • if that's the British military i can only imagine the shape of the French one.

  • @Godzilla52 that isnt the military, that is only the lower ranked soldiers

  • Making proper fun of nancys is always good .

  • @VWNate1 More likely they're making fun of the military.

  • Right, stop that! It's to silly!

    But I like it anyway!

  • It took me a while to realize that their actually basing this off a real drill sequence :P

  • im dying of laughter .

  • damn it !! LL LOSERS !!! is this a joke ?

  • @BHAMPii No of course not silly! Its just your mind playing tricks on you old chap!

  • Don't ask. Don't tell.

  • @BaileysBeads Don't care.

  • I was near a military base once, and I saw a squad of soldiers practicing this. It was the best thing I have ever seen happen spontaneously in history!

  • and thats the army that won the war...

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • @VIPgoldentickets Sadly, in this day and age, they probably won't get it. :(

  • Silly. And a bit suspect, I think.

  • Did I spot Michael Crawford in the front row?

  • @d3v1ld3m0n Oooh get her! Whoops! I've got your number ducky. You couldn't afford me, dear. Two three. I'd scratch your eyes out. Don't come the brigadier bit with us, dear, we all know where you've been, you military fairy. Two three one two three four five six....whoops, don't look now girls the major's just minced in with that dolly colour sergeant, two, three, ooh-ho!

  • @littlebluegift you're welcome :)

  • @d3v1ld3m0n try the youtube video 'Military fairy' @charcoalfeather. This has the subtitles w/the same lines. Hope this helps. =D

  • It's a man's life in the British Royal Army...

  • @LadyMissCoppertone It's a man's life in the British Dental Association.

  • @thexalon Lemming, lemming, Lemming of the BDA.... XDD

  • Fantastic humour. Greetings from Germany!

  • This is something every british soldier must learn.

  • XDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • I wonder how long it must have taken them to learn this and do it so perfect xD

  • And Germany lost to this... twice

  • @DasFuhrerinagstring sorry, we don't fight fags^^

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRammsteinKicksAss you're right, you lose to them :)

  • @DasFuhrerinagstring mainly because of the cartoons after

  • Jann Walker must have come up with that drill.

  • I BUSTED OUT LAUGHING AT FIRST A+

  • Pardon me while I learn this choreography.

  • "Right, stop that.

    its silly.

and a bit suspect I think.

    Time for a cartoon!"

I'll use this in an argument one day.

  • "Right, stop that.

    its silly.

and a bit suspect I think.

    Time for a cartoon!"

Think I'll use this in an argument one day.

  • watch?v=JogpMGKckNo

  • I find it absolutely astounding that anyone would "dislike" this.

  • Suddenly the massive use of "camp" in the names of military installations makes a whole lot of sense

    .....

yeah I know, bit far-fetched perhaps

  • Obama's future army.

  • The best part is John Cleese's wink at 0:30

  • I think this is what the american military thinks would happen if they lifted the "dont ask/ don't tell" policy! Puh-lease!!!

  • ...and thus the seed was planted in adolescent viewer Bill Clinton's mind that decades later would become "Don't Ask/Don't Tell"

  • Same old UTUBE funny clips but with a whole bunch of cunts posting arguments just for the hell of it !!

  • @robsargent4

    Hahaha yeah

  • this should be part of the British SAS recruitment video!!

  • 12 people are a bit suspect.

  • Ooooo!

  • God, Monty Python is the best comedy around.

  • Funny, I cant find this drill in my copy of the 'National Service manual'.

  • I am so bringing this to summer camp with me. -downloads to laptop-

  • When I went through Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, S.C. in '73, I thought of doing this in my mind. I could hear Bugs Bunny say, " If I do'd it, I get a wuppin'. Heh! Hey! Hey! I do'd it! ". XDD

  • LMFAO, to funny

  • @12345TheRonan

    Shut the hell up

It's called a comedy and this isn't anything what it's like and just coz the British are clever enough to not need a 'Boing' or sound effects to tell them when to laugh!

  • Luckily the English have the ANZAC'S to look after em.

  • @SuperGravey Good one. I think that there should be an elite especially camp section of the Army who are sent in to bewilder the enemy. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

  • @robsargent4 That's why we have Confuse a Cat :)

  • @robsargent4 That could actually be a very good idea. The enemy would be wondering what the hell they are doing, and BAM! They are dead. Nice work!

  • @robsargent4 Man, that idea is almost as good as my idea to create a unit of special forces midgets.

  • Must have seen this a million times, and it just doesn't get old!!LOL

  • time for a cartoon!

    lol

  • why cant people just watch this and laugh instead of slating our troops

  • why cant people just watch this and laugh instead of slating our troops

  • look at all the americans comparing this to the abolishment of the dont ask dont tell rule. there are no extra homosexuals in the military now, and if the military were actually like this, i'd feel much better about the concept of war. i'd much prefer some cheeky buggery than a tiny wee child, with his limbs strewn in a bush. LONG LIVE PYTHON!

  • It's a man's life in the modern army!

  • "Alright, stop that! Silly...And a bit suspect i think...Time for a cartoon!"

    I love the Python's punchlines :D

  • Modern Warfare didn't portray the British military accurately enough. They should have taken cues from this.

  • What?

  • result of the abolished don't ask don't tell policy??

  • Don't ask, don't tell

  • The scary thing is - the guy shouting the instructions looks EXACTLY like my Dad did - he would have been in the Marines at around the time that this was made!

  • haha stipid english basterds
