Hey, when you say that you have the entire 1998 series, is that Series 3? as I'm desperately trying to find footage of my mate Simon who was on an episode where he played Street Fighter 2 and won, and then played some racing game and lost. My mate Simon is getting Married, and I really want to get the footage to cut for a best man speech. Let me know if you can help
OMG, Gamesworld! I remember playing Cecil in the final of this series, my name was Andrew, got the highest score ever in beat the Elite (I didn't lose against any of the videators :D)
This IS Beat The Elite, but the bit BEFORE the Videators come on. Monday's and Wednesday's winners had to battle against each other for the right to face the Videators.
Of course the other big screen-filling clue is 50 seconds in.

@krime2001 Still own my eliminator jacket till this day. I made the final in series 1 got 108 points was top of the leader board and got knocked down 2 spots by the end of the series. Im Eddie Dacosta first contestant to have a videator fired when I demolished the ninja 2 perfects in street fighter2 on beat the elite. this was so good. i used to love games world. martin mathers the megabyte millionaire was my favourite, and the games mistress! whoever thought of putting jet from gladiators in a pvc catsuit should have a stamp with his face on. legend!
I used to know martin mathers the megabyte millionaire, and some of the others as well. They used to be around Harrow for some reason, would see them in Debinhams arcade and Computer Exchange. Years ago.
I remember Big Boy Barry who swallow {?) micro-chip & beggar who recive coin from God(?)and He use it on 'coin up. Soon becomes a "Games Missionary (?) and "old woman" who gives cake to oponent and play Columns :-) hehehe That was a crazy ages :-)
i used 2 love this program, still have my snes, with mario kart and street fighter 2.
