@KKmartinz Just not a good idea. No other Zelda game needs to be remade. This one should because actually it has certain issues that need to be fixed, and things that can be added to make it a better experience. And because people who missed that gaming era (N64, or just didn't get the chance to play the game in general) can play it.

We all want it. They are going to do it they just have to make everyone wait and it makes sense. They can't release it now because then nintendo would have released two re-makes right after each other and by doing that they would look really bad. Think about it. If they don't come out with an "original" ZELDA title first then everone will make fun of the 3DS and call it a re-make machine...not that I have a problem with re-makes. I think it's an eccellent idea.

But they did that for the gamecube when they released the Zelda Collector's Edition (and it wasn't just a port because they fixed a few bugs / changed colors of some buttons).
Besides, Nintendo is the definition of remakes, maybe not literally, but that's what their main games are built off of. Mario, Kirby, Zelda, and Metroid all takes concepts from previous games (including Super Smash Brothers). Otherwise Mario would not be in over 200 games.

it makes a lot of sense to put a remake on 3ds, but if you put it in their perspective they are a company so money is a concern mainly. They need to hire another company like grezo to update the game and stuff. Also oot had a giant following by many and sold well. MM didn't sell to well despite it having a relatively big following also. They probably will do a mm remake soon but not yet. Majoras mask happens to be one of my favorite games ever so I'm hoping they do it no matter what.

majora's Mask was definitely the darker side of Zelda there is no question about it......the game has a very dark aspect to it....but I really would love to see this game beautifully retouched and redifined like OOT 3DS....even though I already have OOT and MM....I would buy it again just for my 3DS

I actualy enjoy playing ocarina of time and majoras mask on the n64 more, but if they are both realesed on 3ds newer generations can enjoy them.

It would certainly be cool. My only case against it had been that I really want to see an original Zelda title for 3DS. But this point as well made. If it wouldn't delay an original Zelda 3DS game (by much at least), I'm in.
