I love the Dupage County Forest Preserves. I camped in Pratt's Wayne Woods as a young Boy Scout. We had our winter Jamboree at Blackwell, winter cabin camping at Herrick Lake. We used to take our family dog to Springbrook Prairie and let her jump in the creek. I collect firewood from the floor of Belleau Woods. I ride my bike around Blackwell, to Herrick Lake to Danada, and down to McDowell. I love walking around Green Valley on an overcast, fall day.
I'm so thankful for all these preserves.
