Ok .You are all dumb. VAG owns Lambo. The 5.2 liter in the S8 is a derivative of the Lambo 5.0 liter, with more stroke and bore, increasing torque and displacement. The lambo makes 493hp, while the Audi makes 444, but has 22 more lb-ft of torque.

It is really that hard to research little bit. Go to google and search. VW owns Audi, Lambo Seat, Skoda, Bugatti, Bentley and has hands in a lot of others. Each company still has a board, and CEO and makes their own choices.

People, the V10 in here is from the stock Gallardos from like 2004 2005, was 493 HP, then they detuned it. The RS6 is still a gallardo engine, just twin turbo'ed with lower RPM.

@CarbineGuy actually no the v10 was a lamborghini engine but it was retuned to be put in several different audis, from the r8 to the s6 and s8. they are badged as audi engines but lamborghini engineers made them, although technically every recent lamborghini is an audi because audi owns lamborghini.
