  • i have super mario all stars on my snes and wii ,. plus all 4 nes versions on vc lol i got the true all stars lol

  • The SHARP 19SV111.......how rare are those cause bro has one.

  • @zombiesass, Very rare. It was only 3 months in the market, and only sold in Seals and K-Mart. Around 200 were made, but it is unsure how much remained after some people thrown it away since the NES was outdated.

  • iv got super mario all stars on psp

  • @igethackedd You hacked it? I have it on the Wii

  • power outlets on the back are just that. power outlets. had a stereo amp with outlets on the back and i'd use one to charge my phone.

  • Man, you're a gaming God! I really love old school game systems, but you have a SF Hotel Box! Incredible! I want one!

  • those key holes look like they could be easily opened with a small screwdriver xD

  • What watch are you wearing? I'm a watch freak and like to collect them.

  • I just bought one of these for £125 including delivery, is that a good price?,

Does any one know how many of them were made?

  • There Are Similar Models In the US That Has SNES And N64 Games.

Embassy Suites Has a SNES Or N64 Controller That Worked As A Game Console And As A Normal TV Remote.

Pressing Up And Down On the Controller Changes the channel But also Turns The TV Off And On if going from Beginning To the End of the Cable Channels.

It was included as a Pay-Per-View Section For $6.95-$9.95

    Demos Were only 30-60Min.

Tested At The Embassy Suites Hotel In Downey,CA In Orange County.

  • The Embassy Suites Had a similar model Like this. problem was it was Pay-Per-View Games That Play SNES.

  • the golf game is pebble beach golf links

  • That golf music sounds like the music in the lift (elevator) down to hell :/

How many weird cool systems are still out there, do you employ Indiana Jones type people to find them for you?

Locks on the front are not hard to get past, but best if you can get them replaced so you have a set of keys yourself.

    good interesting vid.

  • Cool watch! is it a nintendo one?

  • What a queen!

  • Very interesting and unusual system

  • can you add games to this system?

  • @AlirazaVideoGames there were additional cartridges available for this, you could swap the golf/mahjong games out for either donkey kong and tetris or donkey kong and bomberman.

  • I had to go back and check my super Nintendo paddles and for the first time ever, I realize that my second paddle with the colored buttons is an off brand. I always hated that paddle.

  • Shouldn't the console have a copywrite notice on the bottom of it or something?

Usually it'd have the year there.

  • I could listen to that golf music all day.

  • looks like that ac adopter, would be for pluging in the tv, (if there was only one plug socket then plug in the Super Famicom Box to the wall and put the tv power through the Super Famicom Box.

  • old computers have case for another hdd in front and when you put hdd there you must close it using key like this in front on it.

  • so It is the SnesBox

  • Blue moon

  • Where did you get this thing?

  • I seen a controller hooked to some tv in a hotel just a mile away from Disneyland.

  • great video, thanks for sharing

I love seeing stange old gaming technologies

  • holy crap at 3:08 when he was holding the box did anyone notice how bent back his index finger was?

  • i translate for you

    1. play the game

    2. game brightness settings

    3. watch game demo

    4. pick other game

  • Dyu a Beroru Roru~ xD

  • If you want longer cords on your super famicom controller all you have to do is get 2 snes controllers and swap the cords.

  • I went to a hotel that had the GameCube Version. ITs soo weird!

  • Very cool find John!

  • I love Blue Moon

  • @Gamester81 Did you ever get it opened?

  • That golf game is Pebble Beach Golf LInks (U.S.). The game is the first golf game I ever owned and one of my all-time favorites. Unfortunately, the SNES version is the worst. It has less sound effects, no female caddies, and less colorful outfits. The GEN is the best, followed by the Saturn/3D0 if you like FMV style games.

  • DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!DO A BARREL ROLL!

  • @DanielChristy19 Damn!

  • Only 3 on ebay right now. XD

  • @LogicShadow One of which is now on its way to me! :D

  • i went to a hotel that had a Loginet on the TV but it was free!! to bad you could only play for an hour before it shut off :(

  • @DanielChristy19 Sounds fair?

  • Hi, i am just wondering. if you used ac step down for the unit?

  • That golf game is Waialae Country Club. I have it for SNES.

  • @ 4:07 when you talked about the 100¥ coin slot, I found that 100¥=$1.21

  • I wonder why they did not just use regular size game carts in the system, it would have made it a little smaller

  • @andyseaview I think it was so that Hotel owners couldnt plug in their own games. I imagine Nintendo wanted to control the games that were in them, since they were in there for advertising purposes. They wanted Mario in that bitch...

  • @SCBianchi And I guess that is why no other 3rd party company made games for it.

  • @andyseaview Makes sense

  • A-mazing O:

  • the ac adapter is like a surge bar without the surge protection :P so yea...

  • i have on of these as well.

  • Neat find but unfortunately I'd say its just know about it is enough. The game library is too small to make it awsome.

  • The Options say:

    1. Play the game

    2. How to play

    3. View demo

    4. Choose another game

  • I'm pretty sure the "AC adapter" you pointed out would be to plug in the hotel's television.

  • why are the game so big

  • they make a n64 one to... Ive played it in the dells.

  • I want the music from that golf game now, sounds great to use in videos

  • 2:55 Nintendo should really consider adding that feature to a future video game console.

  • For hotels? omg.. imagine if other guys did something (bizarre) and after playing on the super famicom box.

then u rent the same room and play some games, and you see the controllers had something sticky and brown...

ewww.. btw great review man :)

  • lol pushing reset button makes hotel bed vibrate

  • They would of sold more systems if it had been realesed in the mushroom kingdoms koopa hotels

  • ...those locks in the corners look like the old school computer case locks, actually. Maybe a key to one of those will open it up?

  • if you open it would it have carts like the nes box?

  • dude.. if jewwario saw that.. he would be going nuts

  • cool bro

  • Cool

  • im happy i sub to you you give awsome reviews and all that stuff!

    =D

  • made for love hotels, it probably has a selector for porn channels/movies also

  • how does this guy get this stuff? lol

  • Five idiots gave this video a thumbs down? What the heck? Stupid. They should go back to playing Halo or something. Anyhow, the blue menu options are as follows:

    1. Play the selected game

    2. Instructions on the gameplay

    3. Watch a demo of the game

    4. Play a different game.

  • 10:51 - I couldn't resist pointing that out.

  • I do remember hearing about these when I was a kid. Very unique find I enjoy your famicom videos I find them very informative!!

  • so is it possible to play regular snes cartridges on this beast? or u haven't found an appropriate screwdriver so far?

  • blue moon.. nice

  • Soo in a nutshell its a SNES versio of a arcade neo-geo.

  • Soo in a nutshell its a NES versio of a arcade neo-geo.

  • that was at ebay.de for 300 euros ^^ i really want it =D xD

  • Nice watch!

  • order someone the keys or that they make another ones

  • id guess the tv would plug into the back of that box

  • i rarly say this but I sooooo envy you. now you got to get super back to the future 2 and play it the way it was meant to be played.

  • youtube put these damn adverts in, and the videos started getting stuck halfway through playback

  • I'm not sure if anyone said this but the golf game is almost exactly like Pebble Beach Golf released for the super Nintendo.

  • fucking advertisments, I just want to see a rare console and there are always stuff blocking me, It's not your fault Gamester81, but ads are for TV not Youtube

  • 2 months for shipping? Holy shit. That's truly some patience hahaha

  • @notyoursavior78 One time; I waited around one and a half months to get an order. The next time; not even 3 weeks! Strange, or coincidence? I was patient for both orders.

  • @MarkNESStarFox

I had something like that happen with some dvds I ordered off eBay. The weird thing is that the guy I originally bought them from (I told him I was waiting for them and it had been over three/four weeks) so he sent me another package and eventually I got them...and then like a few days later another copy of them.

Not sure what happened but gave the extra copy to a friend of mine. Weird stuff happens I suppose.

  • make the bed vibrate? i wish ^o^

  • i saw a super famicon at a country inns and suits. in rochester nh

  • @SeaStory1000 No.

  • Man, all these rare consoles... I love your videos just because of these things. I never even knew about this system at all. Thanks for showing it off!

  • where do u get all ur consoles man?

  • I saw one of those lodgenet controllers in a hotel as late as last year, and they were still renting games!

  • That's awesome, I never heard of it before this.

  • nice watch

  • is the famicon the same as the super nintendo?

  • @NobbysPcHelp no famicon is the same as the nes the SUPER Famicom is the same as the super nintendo

  • @maverickhunter1996 oh right thanks

  • i found a rare ninteno 64 one

  • We got coloured SNES buttons in the UK... I never realised you could get them without colours haha

  • BTW. it would've also been cool if there was an NES LodgeNet as well as a Wii one.

  • I once saw one that was a N64 hotel room system. Do you have one of those?

  • Just so you know, Gamester81, the golf game in the system looks nearly identical to a game I have on the Genesis, called Pebble Beach Golf Links. You should check it out, it's almost uncanny how similar they look. :)

  • Did you know that there is also a Super Famicom TV? It was also only used in hotels and is even more rare if I'm correct.

  • This is so cool! I want one!

there is one on Ebay now!!! haha I would buy it if i had the money lol

  • Dude the watch! get rid of the watch!

  • nice tiger joke

  • that is neat i wish i could find that, nice add, you now have a sub

  • lmao i bought one of those for 25$!!

  • @twizid6667 Wow great find. Where did you find it for that price at?

  • @twizid6667 wow! ur an @ss. lol! commenting on everybody just to brag. is that what u do for fun? or u just dont have a life. LOL. childish people like u makes me sick

  • @jes23ter

Or maybe he wasnt bragging and was just sharing how he got his. I got mine from a misspelled auction before. 99p starting bid and no one else bidded. LOLBRAGGING!1!!1!!

  • @jes23ter He's not bragging.

    He doesn't sound childish.

    Now please apologize to him.

  • @twizid6667 NICE!

  • How do you manage to get all these awesome systems? I don't know if I can even afford half of these in my lifetime.

  • Very interesting indeed!

  • blue moon beer. great beer

  • Lolz. A watch game

  • cool console!

  • excellent! i love when i discover game related stuff for the first time. i never even knew that they made this kinda stuff! great find

  • Gamester81 pulls another one out of his hat! Once again I can say I've never seen that thing before! Neat for sure.

  • That is really cool, I remember the days I would see those in hotels and motels in the USA growing up. Good odd piece of history.

  • Awesome.

  • Saw this on ebay a while back.

  • man that sucker is a beast.you could beat someone over that head with that monster!

  • @mattskiba25 Thats what she said ;)

  • never seen one of does.

  • That thing must be super rare, I never heard of this system before. Thanks for sharing!

  • impressive

  • Crazy !

Your the mega video game guru.

Where do you find this stuff ?

    lol.

  • what was that watch u had on

  • Damn, I never would've guessed this. I saw a system like this before except it was N64 instead of SNES.

  • so, did you have the box opened yet?

  • great video. Never heard of this thing before. With all the locks in the front one might wonder why there isn´t a chain or something like that in the back preventing theft aswell. once again, great video as usual.. greeting from sweden

  • I want that!LOL! Great find man and as always very informative.I've done the Japan snail mail myself...one time I had to wait 3 months!

  • wow you always blow my mind with some rare system.. rockin man

  • great video.

    greetings from sweden

  • if you have basic cable show us how you would use it to change channels and see how it is in tv mode

  • I would say those two power outlets on the back are for the tv and vcr to plug into?

  • Increadible

How the hell did you find this

  • Awesome system bro. I dont think there is one thing that is game related you dont have lol...Great video man

  • Your videos are always good stuff.

Thats cool that you have that Famicom box. I have seen them online rarely, and wanted to buy one but didn't have the money. I have never seen one in person before. Great Find!

  • The original Famicom Box that held 10 games was actually for store displays/demos. Some of them have a coinbox attached to it so you'd have to pay to demo a game in the store.

They used some strange hybrid cart that looked like a U.S. NES cart but had a yellow label and had the 60 pin Famicom board.

  • that thing is freakin sweet

  • What a cool collectable mate. One for a real Nintendo Fan Boy! Really nice. They must be very rare mate!?

Love your watch too what is that?

    Cheers ;o)

  • Great video man. Really awesome piece for the collection.

  • Hi! Another awesome pearl in your collection :)

  • Wow! Great system! I'm going to take a guess and identify that mystery golf game as TRUE GOLF CLASSICS: WAIALAE COUNTRY CLUB (released in the US). Can anyone confirm this or has it already been confirmed?

  • @Caztro72

Yeah I think you're right about the golf game.

  • lol why does it have kirby dream course noises???

  • Oh my god. You are SO lucky.

  • What you see on the back is pass thru, pretty cool option. You would plug the TV in to that, and the SFB to the wall.

  • Cool item Gamester. I've seen those N64 things in the US hotels too. Do you think it's even possible to get one of those in the future? Also, how did you even find this unit?

  • @Vintagevideogamegeek

Yeah that'd be cool to get a N64 hotel controller, but I don't think it'd work without the menu to download games. I got this system on ebay. =)

  • Great video, man. What watch are you wearing? Looks almost like something you'd get from a happy meal.

  • @vivalastupidity

Hey thanks. That watch I'm wearing is a Tiger Simpsons game watch. I did a review over it on my other channel NEStalgiaholic if you're curious about it.

  • funny fact

nintendo use to run hotels untill they got into the game industery

  • That's not accurate. Nintendo briefly got into the "love hotel" business in Japan in the 1970s, but these aren't real hotels. Nintendo began as a playing card company in the 1880s, and playing cards were their primary business until the video game era.

  • stfu

  • Who the fuck are you, smashmaster's mom?

  • Blimmey they are bigger carts, and that is an awesome system! never heard of it until now! great vid jon.

  • Thanks James, and again congrats on 1,000+ subs.

  • Very unique and interesting system! Did you get it via Yahoo Japan mate?

  • @Ianwison1978

Hey Ian, I actually picked this up on ebay. Here in the States we don't have Yahoo auctions for some reason.

  • Very awesome...I remember 2 years ago, I was at a hotel/casino, and they still had the N64 box by LodgeNet (The one you mentioned in this video). I tried it out, since I never saw one before, and it was pretty neat. They actually had a lot of games available for purchase (Most were really good ones, too).

  • Nice video.

Where did you order it? I was looking at one of these on Play-Asia last year, but I didn't know exactly what it was at the time. Turned out to be more interesting than I thought.

  • @MightyCollector

I picked it up on ebay. . . I got lucky finding it at a good price.

  • You never cease to amaze me with these ridiculous obscure systems! Are you going to open a museum someday? haha

  • holy shit thats fucking huge
