I felt as though I had to write this. There are two guys missing here and I'd classify both as godfathers of power metal. Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson. These two guys sit at #1 and #2 respectively just because Rob Halford is insurpassed up to this point in my eyes and for many reasons. No one could melt faces like these guys. I'ts unheard of now. Let's not forget about David Byron from Uriah Heep and Ian Gillan from Deep Purple. These were two of the best power singers of their time.

Cool vid!! ..of course there's so many great singers to choose from but Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica is missing!!! I think he has the most unigue sound and no doubt how amaizing singer he is (and a songwriter) He can sing from really low to really high and everything sounds amaizing.. He also got a great distorsion -sound and he even can do little crowling but he don't use it.. And as a person and arthist he is: enegetic, funny, friendly and he brings the smile on everybodys face!
