  • Very exciting. Love this

  • Love this music, your fiddle and Jason Ricci's harp call and response is epic, Cassie's bass playing is full of carachter. That's what I mean for a BAND! Are you coming to play whith Otis in Chiari (Italy) next month? I hope to be able to see the show! Thanks from Italy!!!

  • very good stuff!

  • Love it! Chanting rythms, good vibe. Thanks.

  • Wow I dont know Ricci or any other player in the band, but this band kicks ass!

  • Man, I could give anything to see Otis alive in a blues festival! That would be an epic moment in my life! BLUEZ FOREVER!

  • Epic!

  • Fantastic show. Brutal, raw, thunderous guitar playing, great percussion, outstanding violin solos. Hope they come East soon. Want to see that Cassie Taylor sneer live!! Too good.

  • I love this tube. Fantastic chemistry between the musicians and what a groove :)

  • Holy crap. I cannot seem to stop watching this.

  • I love your music, Anne. Will you be coming to Port Townsend for the Acoustic Blues Festival at the end of July?

  • @bwillie55 Thanks so much for the kind words. Otis will be playing Port Townsend solo so I won't be out for that one.

  • Excellent, Just great. I have all the CDs. I need to get Clovis People. What about a live version with songs about ten minutes long?

  • REALLY cool!!!

  • Looking Great you guys, would love to see you all soon, Darren x

  • I love the duo of Otis and his daughter

  • Incredible! Long time Otis Taylor fan, but the fiddle work stole the show here.

  • Great roots music. I just found out about Otis Taylor after watching a review on the OT signature guitar sold at PureSound music.com Great music from the soul. I'll be buying much from itunes in the comming days I assure you. Nice playing too Anne, thanks for posting this.

  • What happened to Jason Ricci's volume!?

  • Wow this is so cool, love you Otis, you rock!

  • anne...glad you joined up..please To OT: remember The 60's..peace always bro...

  • WOW!

    Goosebumps... no kiddin'

    Shine, shine, shine...

  • Awesome fiddle work, Anne!

  • Anne/ I ran into the phrase "trance blues" about Otis Taylor; intrigued, I came here & this was the 1st thing I saw. As a result, within 2 weeks I bought every OT CD available & I've sent and posted this link a dozen times, all because of the power of this. I was disappointed not to find you on every CD back to the beginning; your presence is pure energy & your playing here and in the snow in Ottawa is so beautiful. Next: your CDs! I can't thank you enough for this. (Ever played w/Hamid Drake?)

  • @longtimegone55

Thanks for digging it and spreading the word! I just started playing with Otis in 2008. So far I show up only on his most recent CD, Clovis People Vol 3. I'll have to check out Hamid Drake.

  • anne I would love to meet you - your spirit when playing comes through......Are

you playing with him again, by yourself or with someone else....Sorry not clear. Do you live in telluride or another state? We are coming from AZ...I know you mentioned he is playing with other people. - Cynthia

  • @z77442 Yes, I'll be playing with Otis Taylor again at Telluride. I'm from Chicago. See you in the mountains!

  • Does Otis play with the African Orchestra all the time? Do they play on their own or with other groups. The person playing the the fiddle is superb along with the

people playing the drums. It is a good mesh of sounds. My husband saw them last year in Telluride - I unfortunately missed it - did not go.Hope to hear these kinds of sounds again. I play this over and over. Funny thing, I was looking up my brother "Larry Thompson" and that's how I ran across this video, your drummer is Larry T.

  • @z77442 Thanks, again! That's me on the fiddle. The African Orchestra was a one-time assembly of wonderful musicians, all of whom have previously played with Otis, but never all together. Otis is known for combining musicians from diverse backgrounds to amazing results. This year at Telluride should be another hit. I can't wait! - Anne

  • Otis Taylor is who Jimi Hendricks would wish to be, all grown up with forever coooool

  • This is a fantastic group.....going to Telluride 2010 this year - to bad I missed last year....Hope you come back - everyone is so talented......

  • @z77442 Thanks! We'll be back at Telluride Blues & Brews 2010. Saturday night at the Convention Center in Mountain Village and Sunday morning at 11 am "The Otis Taylor Band featuring Chuck Campbell and the Sheryl Renee Choir " breaks open the Mainstage. Don't miss it!
