@sslohier Yes they are, Eugene and Herbert Perry. The whole point of this casting (I guess) is to show that Leporello is, in fact, a double of Don Giovanni.

perché nei bassifondi di New York le persone si esprimono con un italiano aulico e soprattutto colla musica di Mozart, ballano il minuetto e la follia. Ridicolo.

Chi dice che Sellars è un genio mi deve dare almeno 20 buoni motivi per giustificare questa schifezza, testo alla mano. Non so se abbia voluto rappresentare un manicomio, dove dovrebbe stare, o è realmente convinto di ciò che ha realizzato.
