I was reading that Jamerson's action was adjusted pretty high, with flatwounds. I think is was Bass mag. Good bread and butter article.

Hi there, are you using Labella's or Rotosound 77's on this? How do you compare the two? Just wondering for my new Fender P bass? Also any chance of a quick vid or some details on your rubber string damper that you made, would be really interested in how you made it as you've really nailed that Jamerson tone!

BTW, keep up the vid's..really inspired me as a bassplayer to get more into some Jamerson tunes...find myself just using my index finger more and more now too, really makes a difference!
