As a photo gear junkie, I seem to go through cameras quickly. I buy - use - sell - upgrade... over and over and over. I have used the original digital rebel, the 20D, the 1DMarkIIN, and now the 1dsMKII. I was originally hesitant to drop the significant chunk of change required to own this product. Especially in the middle of a period ...

DSLR Nikon D7000 should be better then DSLR Canon 1D mark 4 & 5D Mark 2. if D7000 should be having 35 MM Full Frame sensor, CF Memory card & it can shoot 25, 30 & 60 Frames per second in Full HD. i like the video quality of Nikon very much & better then 1D mark 4 & 5D mark 2. but i get upset because D7000 can shoot 24 frames per second in Full HD & 30 frames per second in HD. this two format is not enough for any professional video Works. it have SD card & it have 23.6 MM APS-C Frame sensor.
This is a view that not even a research climber can see. If a canopy scientist ascends adjacent redwoods, they still can't see this view: only increments of it.
grangeharvey - About "my church is trees" - I don't get your point on the "tree-hugger mentality". Are you suggesting that people finding peace in tangible natural places are out of touch with reality? Are the people who worship invisible magic men in the sky more in touch? I don't see your point.
As for the possession of trees: "her tree", etc: These people are guardians of individual trees so that a 1500-year old living thing isn't cut down for a patio. After all, 95% are already gone.
He must have slipped his words, ( 4:15 ) and the title for this video must be incorrect because he couldn't have used a mark 2 if he used liveview to focus because the mark 2 doesn't have this feature. If you search the video entitled National Geographic. Sekwoje- Redwood you will see at about 1:50 that they are in fact mark 3's because the screen is big and the buttons don't line the left hand side of the display,
Michael Nichols at approximately 11:00: "Church is trees... That's my religion."
That statement says a whole lot about the tree-hugger mentality, doesn't it?
By the way, Mr. Nichols refers to certain trees as if they were personal possessions of certain select individuals, himself included—"my tree," "her tree," and so on.
Well, he and his fellow tree-worshippers no more own those beautiful trees than does anyone else.
