  • I enjoyed the video thanks ... check out mine plz

  • That is a beautiful truck and you do great work! I am building a 1967 GMC, my video is on my youtube! I have done everything except for the body work which I have to get re done for the third time! I wish I had your skills in that area! Check out my video!

  • what did you use to remove the rust? hot water and baking soda?

  • @RideMT23 yeah pretty much. i don't think the water temp matters and i have heard baking soda works just as well. For every gallon of water use 1 table spoon or baking soda. i used water softer salt and guest measured and it worked great. you can also use washing soda.

  • "Beautiful truck,"..anyone would be "Proud to own",just a little to long to get to the finished product....take it slow, but speed it all up togeatger,...otherwise "Great job"...and no i cant do a better job,but jeff whiticker of "Flemings ulitamate garage can...just google and watch...!

  • @robbypjr thanks, and yes i have subscibed to his video's there great.

  • Did you buy new chrome bumpers and front grill? Or how did you clean them up so well? Truck looks awesome nice work!

  • @maxypants i bought a new rear bumper but the front grill and bumper are original. the grill is in pretty good shape for been 40 years old but the front bumper could be replace, its starting to show some rust though the chrome, but you can hardly see it, only if you look really close .although i replaced drivers side headlight bezel and grill molding due to rust. but what i did at 2:06 is i used water and a battery charger and salt and that did a pretty good job at getting most of the rust off.

  • here is a llink to a helpful video type in-->How to use electrolysis for rust removal

  • Great video, & your truck turned out beautiful!! You should really be proud to tell everyone you did it yourself. Congrats on a great job!!

  • @Rarerat thanks and i am very proud. If it wasn't for your very helpful camaro videos, i most likely wouldn't have been inspired to do this, thanks for all the help.
