So much for internet neutrality and anonymity. People who dont vote, dont have the right to complain if things like this happen. Apathy lets things like this get into play. I knew China was the top one, I though Russia would be next, then the USA. Would not supprise me to see China/Russia monitor everything from the net to sms. To crackdown on disidents, journalists, and any other critics.

That being said the vast majority should have been posted
@xesonik12 Such as? Troop placements? You realize this is all a form of protest right, and how unlikely it is that anybody would even be killed because of it. Defense force? Is that Israel? America doesn't have a defense force, and it can be argued neither does Israel. It'd be better if the war just ended so your relative wasn't in danger regardless of any leak.
Off the top of my head, one huge motivator for the end of online anonymity would not be governments, but copyright-minded folk. Having one e-identity would sure as hell make it a lot easier for the RIAA to do their jobs.
@BarryDennen12 totally agree, and freedom of choice goes out the window as companies , governments and employers can track every move you make, say bye bye to privacy what so ever, just because my boss pays me to do a job doesn't mean they freaking own me, between 9 and 6 that's it and it's my skill and time they are paying me for not total control of my entire life.
persistent identity one user name per person ever, well they can kiss my back side.
Not meaning to offend anyone, but I can track anyone now, I can track back to 1974 depending on whether or not servers have been update and data has been transfered, but I know what you are getting at.
Guess what? Before they lauched this "real name" system they actually attempted the forcible installation of a software called Green Dam on EVERY PC IN CHINA aimed at filtering out informaton that are BAD FOR KIDS! Hardly a surprise that stupid chinese mobs didn't get it and blocked the project. So here we have this real name system which, successfully implemented, will magically convert millions of whining and complaning losers on internet to happy citizens! Praise our Holy Party!
The internet is like the printing press back just when moveable type had been invented in Germany in the 1450s. What was the near immediate result of this invention that enabled the general population of Europe to have access to and to publish books that until then had to be hand copied? Attempts to supress the works, and their authors in many cases, especially political and religious cases.
The internet is just the current stage of the continuing information revolution.
@AngryAussie I agree completely, but they are extremely unlikely to be able to control it so they'll have to adapt or fall. It doesn't matter how many dissenters burn, or get put in prison, or are censored. Knowledge moves round the planet at the speed of light for anyone with an internet connection. The increasingly level playing field is a bIt of a shitter for them really when it comes to information. I feel for them. Truly.
Yet again, I have another suggestion for a rant video. Do one about all the assholes and bigots on YT who critisize people's videos just by their appearance. I know it's not a pressing issue, but it would make a good little rant.
I think the government has too much power, one day the whole world might live under the hand of tyrany, and have every statue or structure in the world that reperents democracy taken down, then there would be two sides, the citizens and the government.
I myself don't like the idea of governments tracking down people and pin pointing their location to "fight crime" or putting any restrictions on the internet (not, at any rate if they are a nation that advocates "free speech") however stripping people of their anonymity would be nice so scum fuck haters/racists/bigots couldn't hide behind the curtain concealing their true identify of a username when browsing sites like YouTube and have repercussions for the shit they say on the internet.
@AngryAussie Right very true, but the way I see we aren't hurting innocents by revealing their idienties on the internet. You can argue (as I was going to bring up but didn't have room in the first comment) that people like yourself wouldn't be on the internet today if you couldn't hide behind the mask (quite literally in your case) but their is a huge difference between stating your opinion and promoting hate against a certain group.
@Roushfan5 "but the way I see we aren't hurting innocents by revealing their idienties on the internet."
Except that it gives people who wish those innocents harm a means of identifying, and thus finding, these people, potentially putting their lives at risk. All it takes is one crazy with the ability to find someone using their details and they'll be in a position to harm what would otherwise have been an elusive internet anonymous detractor, but is now a potential victim.
@FSAthe1st I said it would be nice to know the identify of people so they wouldn't run their mouths like they are the shit. I am not saying I support it.
When you said criminals will find a way around it occured to me they dont want to catch criminals. then I remembered what you just spent 1 minute talking about. I think its time for bed.
XDDD LOL!!! Yea! China sure is experience at doing that! Expecially using type 59s on students :D And thank you EU and USA! For being fuck ups! Yet I am American >.>
It's a double edged blade. If you don't track people you get the riot of people doing 100% whatever they want which is fine until someone plots a bomb threat. But also they will know stuff that is not necessary to know like what emails bill sent and who is lookin at pr0ns.

Fair enough, the might have some legitimate reasons (eg, finding paedophiles), but the measures proposed are just ridiculous. And can you imagine the manpower required to archive that info...? Indeed.. And by the news today it would appear the UK is dead set on being a front runner in this case (after maybe China and the US.) They're now officially going to monitor all internet traffic of all their citizens at all times. But they promise not to abuse the data they gather.
I still dont get tienimant square, like what the fuck the people didn,t hurt any body, but then agian the chinese government is a bunch of bastards, who cant stand free thinking, witch would help better china as a whole, but who would want a horrible thing like that.

lol i have a sick mind but i could see that as a commercial
The only way I believe we can protect people on the internet is kicking stalkers and child preditors off of it (among other people who actually do "real" harm to you).
True, Im beginning to feel that politicians are cutting budgets for the purpose of making us stupid and gullible. My history teacher said that a way to control a population is by dumbing them down. Call my parinoid.
That's pretty stupid and in the long run it's pretty unpractical, what their going to do, sit a guy infront of a monitor watching everything that users do on the internet? also what if somebody finds about it and just get acces to all users in the world, I bet even politicians don't want their emails filled with junk-mail :P.

It's pretty straightforward.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
If China's gonna track everyone in the world, we might as well piss 'em off!
Let's start with a big ol' FUCK CHINA!

Wouldn't it suck if they found me and thought I was serious?
lancerevo1994 3 years ago
Yeah, fuck 'em.

The only way I believe we can protect people on the internet is kicking stalkers and child preditors off of it (among other people who actually do "real" harm to you).
zNelson24 3 years ago
Given that this is literally impossible I would suggest education is a much wiser goal.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
True, Im beginning to feel that politicians are cutting budgets for the purpose of making us stupid and gullible. My history teacher said that a way to control a population is by dumbing them down. Call my parinoid.
zNelson24 3 years ago
lol....
The Tianaman Square reference was hilarious, good ending point (dragged the joke a bit to much though :P).
Thanks for keeping me up to date. Without you, id have to rely on tv news (which are starting to become as sensationalised as ACA and TT).
bagglestheatheist 3 years ago
You don't wanna rely on those shows.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
That's pretty stupid and in the long run it's pretty unpractical, what their going to do, sit a guy infront of a monitor watching everything that users do on the internet? also what if somebody finds about it and just get acces to all users in the world, I bet even politicians don't want their emails filled with junk-mail :P.
Giorgio879 3 years ago
In China, that's exactly what they do.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
Might as well become Pyongyung!

Don't worry, it will be exported across the world in the next few years.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
you stupid motherfuckers, what ever happened to the privacy act?
DragonLordReviews 3 years ago
Like the US constitution, it's been declared "quaint"
AngryAussie 3 years ago
Well said, and I'm not surprised.
t4ac3y1 3 years ago
Yeah, this sort of stuff is going to keep happening.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
Sorry but I have to...
We are legion
We don't forgive
We don't forget
Expect us
Next target: China
mrpink92 3 years ago
You wanna be careful what you say and do to a government that executes "dissidents"
AngryAussie 3 years ago
We are everybody
and we are nobody
To declare war on Anonymous is to declare war on everybody
aaaaaFuck 3 years ago
Except some people who declare themselves "anonymous" are plenty stupid enough to be found. Like the Palin email hacker.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
There are always going to be people who aren't good at hiding.
But if Anonymous is everybody, it would be pretty difficult to go against us
aaaaaFuck 3 years ago
Like I said, they wouldn't go against "everybody" but it's very easy to get to individuals.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
Exactly what the Church of $cientology does. But that doesn't work against Anonymous.
