Isn't supposed to be red. I actually gave her red-brown eyes like the reference pictures I looked at showed. But yeah, I guess it ended up a bit too red.

Same with her hair. Some in some pictures it's blue while there are others in which it looks rather purple, so I had to pick a tone that looked okay.

ich finde, auch in den OVAs sehen ihre Augen eher rot aus. Na ja, eigentlich eher ein dunkles rot-braun, aber hätte ich ihre Augenfarbe zu dunkel gewählt, hätte sie sich optisch zu sehr mit dem schwarz vermischt, glaube ich.

Those pictures DID take time, lots of time since I have a really slow drawing speed. I meant that EVERY drawing is practice 'cause you can only improve by drawing.

"Talent" always sounds like one just woke up and could draw when it actually takes years to become any good.

Oh. XD I view it differently. Of course, any time you draw you are getting better, but sometimes when I draw I would call pratcicing eperimenting with a different way to draw something, and talent a natural goodness.... if that makes sense.

ah yeah, I experiment a lot with different aspects of drawing. sometimes you can't use a certain style for a drawing - such as you won't usually use a rough and realistic way to draw a cute little puppy or you won't use soft and calm colors for a fighting scene (unless you aim for some special result)

I like to try different ways of coloring and play with photoshop effects. And there are so many way of drawing eyes, too.

XD "natural goodness" sounds awesome. I wish I had it.

First I draw them in Photoshop (version 2.0 in my case) then I put the pictures into movie maker.

(It's basically done the same way you can make animated gifs - meaning many pictures in a row make them look like they're moving.)

If you ask me, you should draw on paper and practice a lot before you even think about using Photoshop. Digital art is harder.

Try to draw something easy first. I started with drawing animals (mostly cats) before I started drawing human characters, but this depends on what you can draw the easiest.
