when i first went on this ride, i remember in my seat there were no handles to hang on to and i didnt notice that until like half the ride so i was freaked lol

This Viper WAS BUILT WAY BEFORE THE SIX FLAGS ERA. IT WAS THE FIRST MAJOR ROLLER COASTER BUILT IN 1982 1 Year After The Park Opened. And That Was Defiantly Not During The Six flags Era Of The Park! The Name Is Just A Coincidence.

its not a huge drop, about 90-100 feet. its not for speed or hieght, its for the inverted parts (up-side-down). it only oes about 40 mph too.its fun and great for a first roller coaster
