I don't think so. I think the major aspect of Galaxy is the use of non-linear gravity. This game seems to have linear gravity. The only similarities I see are that it is a pretty platformer set in space.

@hobbes71002 Although I must say, the graphical style looks extremely similar to SMG's. Honestly, GohanGVO pretty much said what I was thinking before I even looked at the comments.

Stylistically, yes, it's similar. But I think the concept of gameplay is different here. From what I've seen, this will be more like Mario Sunshine *IN SPACE!!!!*

Galaxy's whole shtick is the gravity. Obviously, gravity is going to play a role here, but I don't see them as being that similar.
