We don't know if the world will end in 2012, or not, we will find out if the Mayans were right by then. But that's the problem, finding out then will be far too late! By then, how many will have prepared for it! Man this is too funny!! First off this is just too much, i mean I've never really seem overblown until I saw this. And then the irony of when he says "The guy's an actor, he's reading from a script" And this will be the best comedy of the year. That's the thing, people don't watch these type of movies for the acting or the performance (There are plenty of other movies out there for that)..they watch these movies to be ENTERTAINED, ID4 is a classic movie (don't deny it) although it might not be amazing, it's a great summer blockbuster.
Dont get me wrong, but watching good movies is quite entertaining imo, and gives you a lot more food for the brain than some mindless cataclysmic pretentious visual nonsenses:) Just seeing this very scene with the car going through the falling building makes me think the movie should be rated R: forbidden for individuals OVER 18 years of age:)

key is not to look into it too deep. i though it had to do with galactic aligment of planets, bt im slowly starting to reliaze that this is very political and religious movie beneath all the chaos, madness and confusion. 1 school of though believes that this is going to be a time of great enlighment of mind body and soul, another is the agenda 21, which is all about population reduction to 95% of world population. so you go figure... in my humble opinion 2012 drama has already started to unfold

One thing is true, the other not. There is some good literature out there even in german, just read it. But the premise is forget all that you are manipulated to believe in. Everytime a movie like Independence Day, Armageddon or this one comes out, people just GOT TO point out how "ridiculous" and "unreal" the details are: "How can he outrun a massive earthquake in a limo???" HOW CAN ANYONE ASK THAT IN A SCI-FI MOVIE ABOUT THE END OF THE WORLD?

Man this is too funny!! First off this is just too much, i mean I've never really seem overblown until I saw this. And then the irony of when he says "The guy's an actor, he's reading from a script" And this will be the best comedy of the year. The car outrunning the earthquake, and driving underneath those buildings, just ridiculous. And the plane scene, I felt like I was playing a video game for a minute there. This will be just too funny a movie.

I've been pcyhed about this movie since the very first trailer i saw on it, Months ago. I can't wait to see this movie. I don't know why i like movies like this. but this one, out of all the rest, scares me the most. even more than Freddy Kruger. LOL! wow! i was being sarcastic and saying the U.S. is the center of the earth. unfortunately some of my countryman think this is true (metaphorically speaking of course).
i on the other hand do not believe this to be true and am smart enough to realize the the dominance of the US will be a short lived thing, all countries go through periods of great influence, and it appears China will soon supplant us and the dominant superpower. i couldn't care less really, power always changes hands.

That's the thing, people don't watch these type of movies for the acting or the performance (There are plenty of other movies out there for that)..they watch these movies to be ENTERTAINED, ID4 is a classic movie (don't deny it) although it might not be amazing, it's a great summer blockbuster.
