Record is the shit hands down. It has everything u need to produce, vocalize, and master in 1 box. Tired of the bull about Logic, Pro tools or whateva. Its about what works 4u. I dont need plugs and VST with this, that other shit clogs up the process. Very easy to use, and if u take ur time to use it rite ur sound is on top. I have logic, pro tools,cubase,fruityloops... But reason and record stands above the rest but thats on my pref
@mreman78 Well I will be able to use VSTi's(synths) in Record with a program called "SUNFLOWER", it comes with the Mac already. This program will allow me to stream live audio into Record's audio track, and I can play live. There is no midi involved, or saving so just letting you know. I play keys so it will work for me, not everyone will enjoy this technic. Jacks is also another program i think that works with windows.

Record has the best time stretch in the world since 20 years, the best Mixer SSL with 64 bit, tons of reffils sounds and effect patches. It's a great work station period and it's sequencer is the next best thing to the MPC!
Good shit man. Records/Reason's Sequencer I reckon is awesome, best in the bizz in my opinion.
The Mixer is awesome also, plus if you want to use your favorite plugins then just rewire it into a host DAW then you can route individual mixer channels of Record to individual channels within your favorite DAW. The possibilities with Record are endless.
@KidWuzi Peace, thanks. I use Record only now, the sequencer is the next best thing to the MPC. I am even going to use VST synths with Record so I can stay all in Record without going into PT. I don't use rewire, I use the Bounce technique it's quicker and faster. Yes the mixer is off the hook! I have all the effects I need, I have the 480L, H3000, M5000 and PCM91 that are patches for the RV7000, so I don't need effects from PT 8.

Man Funk is trying to doubt Record and he even said you can't do certain things then he said the Host when you transfer over to it , it takes over Record I am like yes it does but it doesn't take away the SSL warmth then he says yes it doesn't and I am like the heck are you arguing with me for then? LOL That dude just like drama and he doesn't know what the heck he is talking about when it comes to Record.
@teeblack06 I used my hardware Motif to make the sounds for that track nothing else. He even doubted that hard ware could be used I am like "YOU'RE A FOOL" lol Like Kid said Record is endless. while others are saying you can't I am saying you can and doing it.
@44danoc havent picked up Record yet because i got Pro Tools 8 instead. but ill probably get it sooner or later. i just ordered NI Macshine! cant wait to my hands on that! but i will say that SSL mixer in Record is really dope.

Propellerhead produces the most CPU efficient Software, but compared to Sonar 8.5 it doesnt give u all opurtunities in an easy way.
