  • I thought u meant AC/DC the band

  • can't hear him talking because of music playing

  • sorry i could not really here you to good caz the music was to loud.

  • Castlevania: Bloody Tears

  • sweet!

  • the music is too loud and I can 't hear what is being said.

  • 1st video, trial & error my friend, Trial & Error

  • what name is that smoke alarm

  • I think its BGK or BKG or somthing along those lines

  • ok thanks

  • I have 2 AC/battery opreated smoke alarms here in my unit, and earlier this year, I asked my step father to change the batteries in them, my alarms use standard 9 volt batteries. I turned off the power to the lights and smoke detectors at the circuit breaker and my step dad completely removed the alarms from their braket, they obiously can be removed in order to change the batteries. I suspect this varies from Alarm to Alarm.

  • yeah it depends current newer models have anti theft devices installed them, they provide a small level of theft protection by locking the unit into the base & preventing unit\battery theft

  • we had one of those. when it starts up it goes like PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • LOL it goes PEE eh?? better potty train the ting LOL

  • I used to have the AC only version of this model with the red LED in the center of the unit in 1989, what model are these? I forget..

  • Can those AC/DC units charge themselves if U put a rechargeable battery in it? I have one that we have disconnected and removed the batteries due to the lo batt alert and the fact that we have like 6 other alarms in the house. I know they have rechargeable 9 volts, do those things charge them?

  • No, sadly most smoke alarm units do not have the ability to recharge the battery, that should be a manditory feature on all new smoke alarm units though.

  • Well I'm not even going to bother hooking it back up to AC in that case if I'm still going to have to change the batteries, then It seems somewhat pointless to have the AC hooked up. I will just hang it up with the batteries.

  • Dude if you do that your still gonna have to change the batteries either way, If you leave it connected to AC the batteries will last longer then a year, It just the fact that I change mine every year to ensure my own safety & the safety of others in the building

  • Smoke detectors should have "hold" switches to save energy for the battery just like a cd walkman.

  • no there are some smoke alarms that recharge the battery

  • I think it sometimes depends on the alarm. My Grandmother has an AC/battery operated smoke alarm in her apartment, the alarm was installed by the Housing Comission aobut 12 years ago, and I'm sure the User's Guide that came with the alarm stated that it had a rechargeable battery in it. My AC/battery operated smoke alarms just use standard 9 volt batteries.

  • That alarm should really be replaced, 12 years ago is way too long!

  • Yeah, right now the Auxilary system" is protecting me, last week all 3 AC\DC units failed & would not stop beeping.

  • Ahh. Glad to see someone who takes good care of their smoke alarms!!!:)

  • Nice Castlevania song.

  • Thank You, it's my favorite song out of all of the ones I have on my Computer

  • cool
