@Nahalosa0714 Based on what I've seen, Idolmaster is still better due to the fact that Idolmaster only focuses on 3-5 girls at once. It is easier to watch the dance steps and all while there's only 3-5 girls to focus on as compared to focusing on 8 at once. While love live focuses on having all the idols dance at once. However, the anime hasn't had the chance to air yet so it's still too early to tell.

@haxerx123 Yeah, i'm with you, Idolm@ster is so good that is gonna be hard that Love Live will be better and also we don't know if the anime is gonna have the same quality than this video and the other ones that are in the internet. We will have to wait ( why 2013 T.T)

@Nahalosa0714 Agreed. Though I like how they are doing the dance moves differently. Their dance moves are more "cutesy" or so to speak. Also, there's this 1-2 second cut in of the girls individually which I find to be very appealing.

@UBeeWa No. They used 3d models at several points most likely to cut down the amount of actual animation they have to do. You can tell by the how the models don't "deform". Draw out images in animation have little deformations, like a eye being just a little bit more over to the right, while 3D models don't have any. That and the movement it more smooth than normal animation (unless that animation was traced over 3d models)

@zomaru3 Well, I worked with 3-d models for three years. I don't see any shots that stand out. You can point them out to me, if you like, but if a professional with 3-d doesn't see any obvious 3-d, then they have done their job well. It looks 100% hand-drawn to me.

@UBeeWa Well they DO indeed blend-in very well. And when they are used they are used mostly in the background and in far away shots, all during the dance sequence. The video is mostly hand-drawn. I would point out places where you can tell they are 3D models but I'm terrible at explaining things...and right now I'm quite tired and don't feel like analyzing a video for 20 minutes pointing out where 3d models where used.
