"the media is slanted to the left" Media is owned by corporations which are naturally slanted towards the right. The left makes intelligent questions while the right fumbles to come up with a gut answer but what you feel in your gut isn't always right if you actually think about things.
Damn east coast, lattee drinking, prius driving, elistist communist bastards! I'll "disperse" your ass all over the fucking newsroom you damn "journalist"
Joe did not ask him who he was voting for.... "Do you agree with your candidate?" is what he asked..... instead of the CNN anchor getting into a dispute he could have simply answered yes or no...
I find the issue to be a contrast between black/white thinking vs. shades of grey. Apart from exact questions dealing with well-known and "well-established" facts, - "Is the sun a star...yes or no?" - I believe the majority of questions in life can rarely be answered in yes/no terms. There are numerous answers in between, shades of grey, so to speak. I find that conservatives gravitate towards yes/no questions and answers (Hannity) . Answering in absolutes is dangerous and counterintuitive.
Well said! I completely agree. I have been trying to make this exact point for ages but was struggling to get it across verbally but thats a really good way of describing it.
Its the same over here. Right wingers can only deal with absolutes and black n white thinking/issues/questions/topics etc etc. As soon as things get a wee bit murky or 'grey' they really struggle to deal and lose the argument. E.g desire to judge all individuals on welfare on ability to work the same way
Joe the plumber (Samuel Wurzelbacher) is not a conservative, he is a shill for NEOconservatives. A real conservative is Patrick Buchanan. This guy is an unemployed clown.
When Joe "I was on welfare and I owe back-taxes and I'm not really a plumber" the Plumber, is called out on his bat-shit crazy obnoxiousness. He reverts back to the pathetic excuse for a human being he has always been. He's probably still sucking on Uncle Sam's teet.
The media performed a hatchet job on Joe. He has every right to be cynical about them and their incredible bias for Obama during the campaign. As far as this reporter went, Joe didn't know him specifically, and was right to clarify that it wasn't personal toward him, but I suspect that, had this particular "journalist" been known to Joe as one of those responsible, he would have felt less need to go easy. Every time I've seen him, Joe has been very careful to be respectful and polite. =^[.]^=
joe needs to get out of the kitchen, he ain't nothing. all he's doing is using this to make money and he did dumb mccain under the bus on a radio interview and why didn't he told his fox news friends that they were bias for mccain?? joe needs to back off, he'll never get a job in any of cindy mccain's beer factories not even as a plumber
Joe is an idiot. Its funny how as soon as the reporter stood his ground joe backed down like a fearful child. I'm so sick of Joe and others using the "media picks on me" as an excuse. To that I say grow up and grow some balls.
